Great staff very welcoming. The breakfast was great specially the cake made daily. Private parking and all major sights very easily reachable by car. They also provide towels for the thermal bath at reasonable cost.

Breakfast was wonderful. The experience was outstanding.
I only wish there was greater emphasis in the instructions in reference to accessing the property for the first time. Getting to open the big entrance gate was a little confusing because I did not know or had forgotten that there were instructions to open the gate.

Large upscale room with glass wall looking out on the beautiful gardens. The house is airy and elegant. Spacious bathroom, good beds. Breakfast was varied and abundant and served in an atmospheric stone-vaulted room. Beatriz was very friendly and responsive. Capelas is not touristy but its compact waterfront has several beautiful and interesting viewpoints, the Faro (lighthouse) de Capelas and the old whaling station. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and comfortable oasis! Behind the secret security door it opens up into a private oasis and just greenery and privacy. We had a lovely room with a balcony in the garden. Air conditioned and private bathroom. Breakfast every morning from eggs and bacon to yoghurts, bread, cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice to the most delicious slices of heaven being the cakes! Who eats cake for breakfast!….i do now! Staff are the best and so welcoming. Max there will be no more than 14 people in the building which we only saw at breakfast.
Bed was slightly too hard but this is a personal preference
