Beautiful cottage

Beautiful cottage by the lake. Beautiful Christmas decorations lifted up the mood. Many rooms, sauna, small dock by the lake with a possibility to do ice hole where you can swim/dip. Quite near Ruka, near the main road leading from city center to Ruka.

Before we were at the cottage, renter's/owner's seperate messaging about cleaning the house carefully or otherwise a big fee would be charged, was quite unpleasant. Then, cottage wasn't even well cleaned. We told to the owner we're not going to clean it to a better condition.

Perfect stay for family in winter.

The house is fully equipped, very nice the lake.

Some lamps were not working, some items broken,but overall ok. Sauna heating to 90C needs long.

Exceptional

Incredible experience! Pictures don’t make justice to the spectacular view there is. Breakfast was delicious, lots of variety. I would recommend for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet with a view. Worth making a stop on your way to further north.

Great place to stay

The property was nice and had everything you need in the kitchen and overall. The kitchen was modern and well equipped (the dish washer had a section for cutlery on the top that took a while to figure out though). The sofa in the living room big with a view to the television and the fire place where we grilled sausages in the evening. There were wooden stairs leading down to the lake with the possibility to swim. In the morning we woke to reindeers walking by the window with their signature bells clonking. Matleena our contact person was very helpful and responsive in general. All in all what you need to enjoy your time in a Finnish cottage.

Not much to complain about. The grill ran out of gas before our second meal and we never managed to find the smoke house 😉

Emme päässeet majoitukseen bookingin takia. Majoitukseen oli tullut tupla bookkaus jonka johdosta meidän porukkamme ei päässyt sinne. Myöskään rahojen palautus ei ollut vaihtoehto, joten jouduinme yöpymään korvaavassa kohteessa, joka ei ollut makuumme lähellekkään saman tasoinen.

Toiseen kertaan olimme Villa Amossa, ja olemme kyllä aina viihtyneet. Jokaiselle oma makuuhuone (5 henkeä) on aina plussaa.

Loppusiivous kun hoidetaan itse, olisi välineistön hyvä olla sen mukainen. Pesuaineita enemmän, uusi imuri ja kaikki pesuaineet samassa kaapissa helpottaisi kovasti!

Sehr schöne gemütliche Blockhütte

Die Hütte war sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Außerdem ist die Lage am See sehr gut und auch die Skipiste ist sehr nah dran. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben einen sehr schönen erholsamen Urlaub dort verbracht.

Die Waschmaschine ist sehr klein.
