This place might be a good place for a family, but it was not economical or convenient for an older couple. Unfortunatel

The owner of the property was very nice and greeted us with a very warm welcome

There were two very steep, staircases one up the front & one up the back to get into the house as well as five steps down to the kitchen. This would not have been appropriate for someone older or a family with children. There was no real outside space, no view from the balcony, and there were two other properties in the same yard. It was a long walk to even look at the river behind the house.

Great location close to town. The river is down the hill just a short walk out the front door. Everything was clean and had everything we needed. Good communication from the host. Would stay here again.

Exceptional

It was very peaceful and quiet. Very relaxing. The loft was cozy and had plenty of space.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, though if you like harder mattresses it's fine. The futon couch in living area was extremely uncomfortable to sit on.

Getaway heaven.

Nice quiet location. Easy to get to both Austin and San Antonio about hour to either. Beautiful small towns around the area for some small town shopping. Loft was prefect for a getaway. Glad we found it. Joyce was wonderful

A very cute and super clean cottage on a quiet property. The host was very sweet and made sure we got in ok upon our arrival.

The place was perfect for our girls' trip! We enjoyed the private river access. I enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony :)

Girls Trip

It was in the beautiful Hill Country so close to the main square of Wimberley. Easy to find and get to. The house was nicely equipped with everything you could need for a weekend trip. The house was cozy and the air conditioner was AMAZING!!! Beds were comfortable. The deck outside is nice and spacious on the top tier if the house and didn’t have to worry about wild animals.

My only complaint is the house is not directly on the water as the owner of this property also lives on site and you have to walk around her house and through her yard to to gain river access and the path isn’t clear to get to the water. This is a minor detail but should definitely be included in the description if you’re looking for privacy or river front access and view. Bring trash bags and toilet paper.

The rate was appropriate.

The location was about 100 yards from the river. We waded through weeds and thorns to get to the river front that was about 4 inches deep. There wasn't even a trail. This is a garage apartment and it was adequate, but the property itself was not well kept. Instant chigger bites.
