About this house rental
Newly completed renovation, this home awaits your arrival. With only 150 steps to the Gulf's azure sea and newly replenished sandy beach, you will reset and restore your soul. Your vacation will be all about relaxation and being grateful for the day.
This beautiful island home features a resort style floor plan. It has a main building with king master bedroom, en suite (double sink) bath, a loft style bedroom, a second bath (with shower), fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. Across the lanai (pool area), you will find another buliding with a queen master bedroom efficiency with & en suite bath.
Although the lovely beaches and nearby attractions are a very strong draw, you may decide to spend your time thoroughly enjoying the comfort of this inviting home. Its' high ceilings & feeling of spaciousness, the refreshing crystal clear heated pool and just about every creature comfort will put you at ease and possibly convince you to remain at the house for the day and consider the next day 'a beach day.'
Why Manasota Key? Being from Rhode Island, the Ocean State, my family and I have come to develop the need to be near the water. We had heard about Englewood through a friend and decided to look into this place that was described as being 'Old Florida.' The thought of finding an ideal place to vacation and eventually reside was enticing. After just one visit, we knew this island was what we'd been looking for for years. The beautiful, unspoiled surroundings and very friendly locals all played a part in our decision to become Gulf residents.
It didn't take long before we found this beautiful house close to the Gulf waters in March of 2011. This home has a feeling to it that needs to be experienced to understand. If a house could have a heart and soul, you would want this house to be your best friend. I hope you find the time to come to the beach and relax.

We had a blast at Nancy's Manasota home! My wife brought up rebooking after the second day we were there. The home is just a short walk to the uncrowded private beach.The kitchen is well stocked and has newer appliances. We tend to prepare our own meals so it was nice to have everything we needed. We used the gas grill several times. I grilled some Jumbo shrimp that we bought from the local seafood market. The pool is nice sized and private, right outside of the sliding doors. We couldn't keep our nine year old son out of it. There are 3 bathrooms. We used the master bathroom for showers. It was so nice to have a showhead above me for a change. I'm 6'2" so I usually have to crouch down to get under the shower head. It is not common for us to find a place that we want to rebook but we are coming back here!

What a lovely property. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything you need to cook or just lounge around. Proximity to the beach is very close. Nancy was quick to answer any questions and very friendly.

House was clean and literally had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and very nice neighbor as well. Steps to the beach and newly remodeled. Pool was cold due to weather so we did not use it but we spent our time at the beach anyway. The chairs in the garage were great to have there as we did not have to bring our own. Great communication and was easy to get in at check in time. Would rent here again.

Everything it was advertised to be. Lovely home in a beautiful location. Beach and pool were a delight. Good and timely communication with our host. Perfect arrangement for my daughter, granddaughter and I. Loved the privacy and space of the separate guest house. Such a quiet and peaceful neighborhood
