About this house rental
Newly completed renovation, this home awaits your arrival. With only 150 steps to the Gulf's azure sea and newly replenished sandy beach, you will reset and restore your soul. Your vacation will be all about relaxation and being grateful for the day.
This beautiful island home features a resort style floor plan. It has a main building with king master bedroom, en suite (double sink) bath, a loft style bedroom, a second bath (with shower), fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. Across the lanai (pool area), you will find another buliding with a queen master bedroom efficiency with & en suite bath.
Although the lovely beaches and nearby attractions are a very strong draw, you may decide to spend your time thoroughly enjoying the comfort of this inviting home. Its' high ceilings & feeling of spaciousness, the refreshing crystal clear heated pool and just about every creature comfort will put you at ease and possibly convince you to remain at the house for the day and consider the next day 'a beach day.'
Why Manasota Key? Being from Rhode Island, the Ocean State, my family and I have come to develop the need to be near the water. We had heard about Englewood through a friend and decided to look into this place that was described as being 'Old Florida.' The thought of finding an ideal place to vacation and eventually reside was enticing. After just one visit, we knew this island was what we'd been looking for for years. The beautiful, unspoiled surroundings and very friendly locals all played a part in our decision to become Gulf residents.
It didn't take long before we found this beautiful house close to the Gulf waters in March of 2011. This home has a feeling to it that needs to be experienced to understand. If a house could have a heart and soul, you would want this house to be your best friend. I hope you find the time to come to the beach and relax.

Another amazing stay! Updates are beautiful and the house is always so clean! This is our third stay here and we plan to be back. Just a few steps to the water and close to all the best eateries. Nancy is the very best host, always there when you message her. Thank you Nancy for another great vacation!

Such a beautiful home! Truly just steps to a gorgeous, private beach. We only ever saw a handful of people on our area of the beach. Depending on the tide, it’s not super wide but still plenty of space for a chair and umbrella or to play frisbee. The private pool is so perfect and was plenty warm in mid July, without using the heater. The home was very clean, well furnished, and by far the most stocked I’ve ever stayed in as far as kitchen equipment and essentials. All of the beds were super comfortable. From beach towels to pool toys and floaties, we weren’t missing anything. The separate suite was so nice for grandparents to have a quiet space apart from the main home. The pool bathroom was awesome so wet feet weren’t tracking through the house! We found several shark teeth and ate at a few great restaurants. We never had a single problem but I had a few questions and the host, Nancy, was extremely responsive and friendly. We had the best week!

Beautiful place with very close and easy access to the beach. We found over 4000 sharks teeth during our 1 week stay. Beach was not crowded. Our older son loved having his own “suite” to relax in and our younger son loved having the loft to himself. Wish the bathroom for the loft was easier to access but we made due. Master was roomy and a nice attached batch and large closet. Kitchen looked new and had everything we needed, although a little small for our family of 4. Would definitely stay again!

The house was absolutely gorgeous! The host provided everything needed for a nice smooth vacation. Everything about this home & area was beautiful. I would definitely rent this home again. The home is family friendly since we had our young children with us. The beach was only a minute walk from the house, and the pool was clean, warm & so much fun! I spoke to the host a couple times & she is so nice, it was a very nice, smooth check in & check out process.
