Great location

The location is absolutely the best thing about the property - nice and calm neighbourhood, close to city centre, tram stop just in front of the building, bus stop 2 min walking distance. The apartment we were staying in was clean, spacious, had all the facilities we needed, and was very warm. The host was very polite and helpful.

The only downside of the property is that it is noisy - you are able to hear cars and people walking and talking on the street, as well as the tram, since the stop is right outside. This was not an issue for us, since we all have deep sleep, but it could be a problem for people who sleep lightly.

The location was perfect. Tram right outside the door to take you to the city centre and plenty of lovely places to eat in the area for both dinner and breakfast. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean.

Very relaxing but explorative stay. Excellent host!

Host was super helpful on arrival, explained the apartment and the area and travel connections int main parts of Milan which were super easy to access via tram which took 10 minutes. Was exceptionally clean. Owner included amenities which were super nice. Overall a very good stay!

Porta Romana is a great place to stay in Milan!

The location of the Porta Romana apartments was superb. The tram stop to the Duomo was just outside the front door. There were many excellent restaurants, coffee shops and small groceries close by. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was very usable, and the towels were fluffy.

Unfortunately, the microwave was not working. The shower door was coming off of its hinges, and the outlet plugs were difficult to use. The closeness of the tram might be noisy for some. One especially troublesome aspect arose after we had departed. I left some medication, a sleeping mask, and earplugs in a drawer by the bed, but when I inquired about the medication, I was promptly told that there was nothing found. That raises two questions: 1-If the cleaners didn't find it, did they even look? Which suggests that the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. 2-If they didn't find it, did they keep it for themselves or throw it away? Which suggests disinterest for the client at best or dishonesty at worst. I can deal with the ear plugs and mask, but the loss of prescription medication was upsetting.

Modern and comfortable

The apartment was modern, spotless, and had everything we needed for our short stay. The host was incredibly friendly and met us on arrival, taking the time to walk us through the apartment and explain how everything worked. The location is super convenient, with a tram stop right outside the building that offers quick access to major attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant stay and we’d always love to come back.

The apartment was very clean, homey, warm, positioned very well, right by public transport (the 16 tram) that gets you directly to the Duomo, and 3-4 minutes away from buses 92-91, that get you to Central Station. The host was also very kind and available, and explained everythig in great detail. Across the street is Lionellio, a great place for pizza, but be warry, you have to make reservations during the week, as it gets busy really fast.

10 out of 10 on every aspect

Davide was very friendly and accommodating. A nice, safe area has grocery stores and restaurants within a few minutes walk. We were able to get to the center without using any transportation, even though this may be a bit too far for some people. The room is spotless and has virtually anything you need.

The only suggestion we have is to check the cleaning supplies. The empty detergent bottles and an old dish sponge were the only things not up to the highest standard.

Convenient place near a tram stop. 15 min ride to the Milan Centre. Calm neighborhood. Very friendly hosts. In the morning in 5 min. walking distance you could use a lovely caffe for coffee and wide choice always fresh croissants.

No shower gel or shampoo in the shower cabin. Many steps between rooms - at the night time suppose to be careful walking to the toilet or kitchen. Actually it is not the same room I saw on the pictures during the booking - much much smaller, but who needs space anyway :)
