Sparkling Life - Epernay centre

V close to town. The bedroom is deliciously dark at night so we slept wonderfully. It was a very nice stay. The host was very quick with communication.

If you are over 6 foot my husband would say the bed downstairs is quite short. We didn't try the other bed. There was only one loo roll, which was odd, and fortunate that it only ran out the morning that we left.

An authentic property, decently equipped.

Location on of the roads - gets noisy.

The location so close to the CBD. The bed was comfortable and the decor was bright.

It was a long narrow apartment with a window at the front and skylight over the bedroom at the back so was quite dark. Missed a balcony to sit outside.

The bed was comfortable. Not far to the centre of town. Good fan in bedroom.

Sadly the apartment felt shabby and worn and smaller that portrayed in photos. Not a good first impression with dirty rags on the windowsill at the front. It wasn’t well maintained- cigarette burns on the sofa, one dining chair broken, poor selection of china/glass to use in the kitchen, out of date drinks etc in the fridge. Overhead shower head damaged so not working properly, soap dispenser in bathroom dirty, broken and empty. Makeshift table with glass top in lounge area which I caught my leg on. In a very busy location, noisy with the window open as it was warm, traffic thundering past , but the double glazing was ok and helped. We were able to park outside but it was stressful not knowing if that was always going to happen. . This had been recommended by a friend who stayed a few years ago but it looks like it has gone downhill since then sadly.
