Up front issues: Safety issue - the metal door stop on the lower deck blends in with the deck making it easy to smash your toes on it which hurts, rcmd owner paints it bright yellow. Could not lock front door. PIN and key box inoperable. Supplies - as other reviews mentioned, no hand soap in the multiple empty hand soap containers (which management told me were there for decoration only); not one sheet of toilet paper in main floor bathroom used by 5 people; only one roll in each upstairs bathroom, both partially used, no extra rolls for replacement. One kitchen trash bag. This lack of basic, inexpensive hygiene supplies is most unusual for a short-term rental. Not mentioned in check in email and I did not see it in any other correspondence. Even if it was buried in some massive contract document, it is still sub-par. UNSAT. Good news: ac worked great, plenty of parking, outside shower, fire pit, big charcoal grill, close walk to beach. I requested and management paid a 20 refund for hand soap, trash bags and toilet paper that the next guest can also enjoy since I left them there.

Our multifamily stay at the Mint Julep property was fantastic. Our first day was a bit rainy, but there was still plenty of space inside and downstairs under the house to get the vibes going. With a great beach view, plenty of yard space, and a perfect sized fire pit, my family and I had a really great time! A few more basics and essentials like trash bags and toilet paper would’ve been a nice addition for the price, but overall the value was definitely worth it. Wish we had a few more days to soak up some more sun, but we’re glad Mint Julep was available and perfect for us!

This house was big and great location. There was plenty of space and beds for our party of 14. There were a few cons to the weekend. The fridge was not cleaned out and made it tough for the food we had brought with us. The grill was not usable unless we went out to purchase propane which was a bummer as we had not planned for this as it was listed there would be a grill to use. Finally the driveway is heavy on soft sand and one of our cars became stuck. Luckily the rental service knew of someone that came over and was able to tow it out. Overall the weekend and house was great minus the few hiccups.
