House of Palm - One of a Kind

Staying in this historic house on Nachalat Binyamin was amazing! Shuk haCarmel around the corner, restaurants all around, craft fair twice a week, and within walking distance of many great neighborhoods and the beach. The apt was large, lovely and quiet. There was a mixup with the apt we originally booked and David was wonderfully accommodating and helpful. Can’t wait to come back next year!

The central ac didn’t cool the bedroom well enough. David gave us a fan and knows to fix the issue.

Second time and sure coming back. Location and communication and vibe.

Everything. Location, the apartment was gorgeous and felt cosy but still full of light.

The shower drain could have been cleaned and unclogged better and we were unable to use the tv or connect to netflix.

Location was awesome

The place has a lot of potential and the building is beautiful. It is clear that a lot was invested in it in the past, but it is simply not well-maintained. The curtains are old and stained, and the armchairs are as well. While the place was clean, the overall lack of maintenance is noticeable. Additionally, we were a group of four and when we asked for extra towels or blankets, we were ignored. There were exactly 4 towels and only one blanket per bed. On paper that seems fine, but one of our towels fell on the floor, and sharing a blanket wasn’t comfortable. They just replied that there was enough, and then stopped responding completely. We also noticed that even though we are Israelis and wrote to them in Hebrew, we were always answered in English. This made us suspect that their customer service might be outsourced. To top it off, we completely ran out of toilet paper on the morning of our last day because there were no extras left. The kitchen was also very minimally equipped.
