The Gowdy Apartment is a two bed (both Queen) one bath apartment. It is located in the historic district and walking distance is a mere 2 blocks to the center town, restaurants, pubs, and town events. The Gowdy Apartment has a nice private courtyard with fire pit, grill, picnic table and stunning mountain views. The Gowdy Apartment is a modern rental on the same property as The Gowdy Manor (historic home built in 1882) and The Gowdy Studio. OHVs are only allowed to travel on Hwy 149 from June 13th until September 30th

Jim met us when we arrived in the front yard. His place was very convenient for all 4 of us. We had to switch nights at the last minute, and he reimbursed me what VRBO did not cover. I would recommend Gowdy properties for all of your housing needs in the lake City Colorado area. Thanks again

The Gowdy apartment was very clean and comfortable. Jim met us and explained everything we needed to know and was helpful throughout our stay. We loved the location, and the back yard was great for having other family members come visit. We have been going to Lake City 50 years and stayed in a variety of houses and cabins and this is our favorite. We will certainly be back!
