Shangri-La is a comfortable, eclectic condo located in the heart of Center Street in Folly Beach, South Carolina. Located just a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean beach, you can have your toes in the sand in minutes as well as enjoy all of the nearby Folly Beach restaurants, food trucks & shops row. Shangri-La is the perfect Folly Beach condo for a getaway for a small family, small group of friends, a couple or just you! The condo features a small kitchen, dining area and living room as well as a bathroom and bedroom.
Just 15 miles from downtown Charleston, Folly Beach is its own universe - with its own sense of time, enjoyment, and a laidback, friendly energy that has earned it the lifelong affection of locals and visitors alike. Its wide beaches, solid surfing, eclectic neighborhoods, and community of locally-owned restaurants and shops make it the perfect place in which to revel, relax, and reconnect. With our central location on Center Street, you literally will have the best of what Folly has to offer at your doorstep. Whether it’s sitting on the beach, walking the pier, browsing the shops or people watching at an outdoor restaurant, you are never far from home. You can eat out or stay in; the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook your meals. Remember to bring your beach towels!!

Guests enter Shangri-La by walking up the exterior stairs from the parking lot behind the building. Once you enter the beautiful green front door, you will find a kitchen; a dining area that comfortably seats 4 people; a living room; the bathroom with combined tub & shower; and the bedroom with two queen-sized Tempur-pedic mattresses and TV. Off-street parking for medium sized car in one dedicated but compact parking space in the parking lot is included in the rental rate. No oversized trucks please.
There is no washer/dryer or dishwasher at this home. Laundromat is across the street.

Location Good or Not! It was great being able to walk 1 block to the beach and close to places to eat BUT we discovered that on Fridays and Saturdays the restaurant across the parking lot plays thumping DJ music til 11pm at least. If you're a night owl and like to party this probably won't bother you. Just be aware. The hosts have no control over this, just unfortunate to have to deal with loud music. The accommodations were very nice and suited our needs. We were able to cook breakfast very easily which was a plus. We would stay there again, just during the week.

Stay was great! Only complaint would be the lack of laundry as communication from the host included to put dirty beach towels in laundry but there was none

Excellent location. Close to beach and restaurants. The apartment is lovely. Perfect size for 2 people. Very clean. Parking space is a little tight. They provide expensive toilet paper ;) Definitely will stay here again

Well appointed unit in very convenient location. Only drawback was the very loud music from the Tacoboy bar on the adjoining property that went on till 11 pm or later sending bass reverberations throughout unit. I stayed four nights and the music was on Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday and Monday nights were blissfully quiet.
