About this house rental
Dwell Magazine-inspired, custom Marin County contemporary home in the very desirable quiet West Blithedale Canyon area, sunny exposure, set among the Redwoods. Furnished with new and original mid-century modern furniture. An easy walk through a redwood grove and along the creek to charming downtown Mill Valley, with its vintage movie house, boutiques, cafes and coffee shops, the grocery store, high-end and casual restaurants, and live music and theater venues like the historic Sweetwater Music Hall and 142 Throckmorton.
Walk Score of 64 out of 100. This location is Somewhat Walkable so some errands can be accomplished on foot (carrying a bag of groceries from the market or some books from the library would be fine, carrying larger heavier loads would be best by bike or car).
Many hikes and trails are nearby, nearby parks include Old Mill Park, Blithedale Park. A very nice community pool with huge water slide, jacuzzi and sun decks is five minutes away.

Vintage mid-century modern dining table that seats six, hideaway flatscreen HD-TV with hundreds of cable channels and app links like Netflix. Contemporary art throughout, lots of windows for natural light with a sunny deck off the well-appointed kitchen and views of the redwoods. European white oak or limestone flooring in main living areas and in-floor heating throughout the house.
Please Note: On premises parking available for three cars, very important in Marin. Also important is easy access (including stairs) to the house from the street, with two entrances including one across a bridge over a charming natural stream.

Everything was perfect. The house provides everything one needs, and then some. Our stay was so comfortable and enjoyable. My family could not stop exclaiming about the high-quality mid-century modern design and decor--stunning. The photos do not do justice to this rental. Highly recommend!
