Boutique Compound on Private Vineyard, Complete with Guest House

The house is amazing. Very secluded and private. The only problem is the drive to and from the main drag. It is way up on the mountain which is both awesome and problematic if you want to enjoy the night life in Saint Helena or Yountville.

We had a fantastic time at Mille Vigne. The property was perfect for our group of 6 friends with plenty of space for us to share time together and enjoy the incredible views around us. We would absolutely return.

Gorgeous vineyard views and unique property

While the photos of Mille Vignes are beautiful and accurate, they only begin to capture the magic of this property. We built our trip around spending time here. The road up to the home has lots of twists and turns but it's in great condition and no problem if you take your time. We scheduled our 5 days so that we'd head down for wine tasting & great lunches and then return well before dark with our dinner provisions (from Sunshine Foods.) It was the perfect schedule! At first we thought we'd head out in the mornings to hike at a nearby park, but the on site vineyard provided all we needed for some exercise. There are a couple of differences from the photos - the kitchen cupboards are white now (lovely), with concrete (maybe quartz?) gray counter tops (very cool!), and the tub is removed from one bathroom where it was pictured in the large shower. This isn't an issue because there's an outdoor tub if you want to soak. :) The dining table is also more substantial now. Our party was two couples (50's) and it was lovely and private to each have our own master suites, but we spent most of our time together on the gorgeous deck and in the terrific kitchen. We felt like we were at a resort. With visits from hummingbirds and watching the morning marine layer move over the vines, this is a great place for people who marvel at nature, like we do! It is well situated for winery visits in Calistoga and the Valley. Everywhere we visited was 35 minutes or less. (15 minutes of that is getting down the mountain.) A visit to nearby Pride Mountain Winery was a highlight! Katy, the property manager was in touch with us to provide info and recommendations a few weeks ahead of our visit and responded to questions very quickly during our stay. We hope to have the chance to visit again! Pro tip - Wait to buy any non-wine liquor choices until you have a chance to check out the well stocked open bar! We didn't, so now there's more to choose from! :)
