Beachy Keen Beach Pad.

We loved this place. Very nice. Great AC. Close to everything in a safe neighborhood couple hundred yards from the seawall. We will be back!

This location has been our "goto" rental for a while. That's for a reason

It was great it was our 2nd time renting here and like the first time it was quiet clean and welcoming. Tony was very helpful and on top of the things we needed. We had a great time. This place has it all!

This is balanced feedback (positive & constructive) for our 5-night stay at Beachy Keen. On arrival, the A/C was on & super comfortable! But we discovered the hand soap & dish soap bottles had been watered down so much the soap was unusable. We then found that the barn door between the bathroom & bedroom was off its track. We put it back on its track with some difficulty as the door is very heavy but it wasn’t wide enough to close all the way and remain on its track. We put the luggage rack with our open suitcase against the door to keep it from swinging so it wouldn’t be unsafe for us or our dog. We used the other (pocket) door to the bathroom, but the opening where the barn door wouldn’t close all the way didn’t provide privacy for bathroom use. The following morning, in response to our message, the owners provided us with a bag of cleaning supplies (much appreciated!). One of the laundry pods had leaked so we cleaned & dried the pods before storing them. Then we discovered the patio table umbrella had broken spines so couldn’t be opened. We sent a message to the owner & he replied he wished we would have told him earlier as he was just there dropping off the cleaning supplies. We couldn’t sit out on the deck during our stay because the sun was too hot for us without shade from an umbrella. On our last day, we left the owners another message confirming our early departure. We mentioned the things we enjoyed about Beachy Keen & provided some additional feedback: a window in the bathroom that wouldn’t stay open (just for ventilation) & a very loudly squeaking dishwasher door that needed WD40. We also provided a recommendation that the living room TV might be mounted a little lower for more comfortable viewing. We treat every VRBO with great care and respect. We had hoped that the owners might welcome our feedback, thank us for our stay, or even say sorry for the things that we found uncomfortable. But we never heard back from them. We will end on the positives: Beachy Keen is a charming vintage beach cottage in a great location, with a big yard, delightful décor, good energy, 2 big screen TV’s, a cute doggie station, a Keurig coffeemaker, great A/C, comfortable shower and convenient washer/dryer. And, yes, the bed mattresses ARE hard as some other guests noted, but our aging back enjoyed that firmness.
