The Cottage on 14th street is a light, bright, breezy vacation home. This quaint two bed room, fully furnished circa 1875 home is located five blocks from the beach and one block from the Historic Bishops Palace and Sacred Catholic Heart Church. The Cottage has been renovated with refinished hardwood floors, high ceilings with crown molding and antique furnishings. The fenced in back yard has a wonderful deck and tropical landscape. This home is located just blocks from restaurants and the Historic Strand District. This home has been featured in the May 2014 issue of Houston House & Home Magazine.

We were in town to celebrate my daughters’ birthdays. The place was perfect for our group- myself, two 19 year olds, 12 year old, 10 year old, and two miniature Dachshunds. The bedroom upstairs was the perfect size for the kids and the downstairs room was ideal for me. The cottage is even lovelier in person, as the pictures don’t do the tall ceilings justice. The attention to detail that Tony and Ron put into every inch of this home shows what a labor of love this cottage is for them. I’ve never stayed at a rental home that was as well stocked as this one. They make sure you have almost anything you could need. I appreciated all of the beach items they provide such as chairs, wagons, and toys. We would love to stay at the cottage again next time we’re in town.

We loved our stay in the cottage! It came fully stocked with everything you'd need for a beach vacation... complete with sand toys for the kids 😁. Walkable distance to the beach each day, food and water bowls for the dog..the kids loved the upstairs. Will stay again!
