Excellent place to stay for a short visit.

The hosts were very pleasant and accommodating. The house is modern and scrupulously clean. It has all the appointments necessary for a comfortable short stay.

Some other guests were a bit noisy at late hours. With a shared bathroom, this can be a bit of a challenge.

Beautiful, comfortable, spotless!

Lee maintains a beautiful and well-loved home. You could tell that she cares about an exceptional experience for her guests. A very comfortable and pleasant stay at Lee's. She was also kind enough to let us use the kitchen when we needed to. She was also very warm and welcoming.

We had a great stay and if we ever again in Vancouver we will consider Lee's place again.

Location was excellent: quiet residential street away from traffic noise. It is easily reached by public transport - we needed 1 transfer from SkyTrain to bus 41 from the airport. We were able to walk everywhere. Close by is Fraser street with plentiful ethnic eateries. Our room was large and comfortable, with enough storage place. There were 2 shared bathrooms to use so we did not have to wait long. Use of the kitchen was also greatly appreciated. Lee was very attentive and nice. She allowed us to leave our bags before chek in and after check out as we had a late night flight. I recommend this property for a budget stay in Vancouver.

Just a place to sleep.

Pretty basic accommodation. A basic bedroom with a bed and a desk with a chair. A basic shared bathroom and instant coffee or tea available. Free parking on the street. Host answers your questions but you may never see them.

It’s a shared bathroom as described but not a feature we like very much. The price was lower so dealt with it. Dark front porch at night could use some welcoming light. Was hard to see the address. The end table light didn’t work.

Price was good, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Location was walking distance to restaurants.

Landscaping was overgrown and unwelcoming. The room was extremely hot with only one fan and no air conditioning. The bed had a fitted sheet and a comforter, no flat sheet. Mattress was extremely hard and the two pillows were thin dollar store pillows. There were two bath towels provided, but no face cloths, which would've been great to be able to wash the sweat off of our faces at night.

Our host went out of her way to accommodate for our needs. The house was very clean and we liked the furniture very much. There is a bus stop very close which brings you to downtown.

Loved it.

Location was excellent, out of town but great transport links near by. Property was pristine, the facilities were really good with a large bathroom upstairs and good size shower room upstairs complete with good quality complementary toiletries. Coffee and kettle provided in bedroom and downstairs lounge with plenty of crockery and cutlery. Lee was a lovely host who was so helpful and even carried my case outside when I left. I would happily stay there again. To go downtown, turn left out of the property to the main road cross the road. Take the R4 rapid bus to the sky train station then the Canada line to the Waterfront, all the tourist information is there.

Not much really. If I was being pedantic, I'd say the pillows were a bit lumpy, but did not warrant a mention. The other thing was that I didn't find any shops near by, although there was a petrol station with a shop.

A treasure of a place to stay

Lee home is situated in a lovely residential street. It was great feeling part of a community. Bustling Fraser St was only two blocks away and we discovered PinPin restaurant which sold delicious Filipino-Chinese dishes. The public transport from Lee Home was super easy to navigate and only a 5 min walk away. We took the R4 bus from 41st Ave and then the Canada Line train from Oakridge train station to the Waterfront. Lee Home is immaculate, and we felt privileged to be sharing this beautiful home with the owners who were very kind. We would definitely stay there again if we were going back to Vancouver.

Maybe a face cloth as well as a towel would be good.

If it’s available and in your price range then we highly recommend this place

Property is a house with two bedrooms upstairs that are for guests staying. You get a key to your room and a door code for the entrance to the house. We didn’t get the pleasure of meeting the host. Everything went well and smoothly.

It’s not something we didn’t like, but something to be aware of. There are two bathrooms available. One is on the first floor where you are staying and the second one is on the ground floor. Just be aware that these are both shared bathrooms not private to just your room.

I felt like in a Chateau

I was a but sceptic when I saw the house from outside but omg! House inside looks like a chateau! Beautiful furniture, very comfortable bed, quiet and very clean place. I can highly recommend this accommodation , I wish I could stay longer.

Peaceful stay, lovely host.

the house is beautiful and a lovely experience by itself as visitors to Vancouver. Our host (Lee) was super commodating and gracious, it was lovely to meet her. The room is spacious, with lots of natural light and well ventilated. The neighborhood is charming and peaceful so we were able to catch lots of refreshing sleep.

It’s a very well kept, charming historic house a block away from the bus stop that connects you to skytrain, so great access to everywhere in the city.

We had a great stay. The house was lovely and in a nice friendly neighborhood. Ubers had no problem finding us when we needed one to take us some where.

I would add some kind of hand towels to dry hands in the bathroom. Other than that everything was wonderful.
