Cottage home 3 blocks from the beauty of Lake Charlevoix is the best value in town to sleep 6 people! High speed internet. Professionally cleaned. Close to downtown dining, microbreweries, and shopping. 3 blocks to peninsula beach or marina. Just a short drive to Young state park public beach area. Master bedroom with Queen bed, Second bedroom with queen and third has twin bunk beds. Large deck is great for outdoor living space. Stack washer and dryer. The location is very central to other great attractions! Boyne Mountain Resort is under 10 minutes away and offers top notch golf and skiing, Petoskey lakefront and shopping is a short 22 minute drive, Old Mission Peninsula wineries is an hour and 15 minutes, Mackinaw city is also an hour drive. So many things to do year round; beaches, boating, numerous golf courses, biking, hiking, zip lining, snowmobiling and kayaking.

This was my second stay at Laura's place, and it did not disappoint. The location is convenient to get to the parks, beaches, restaurants and shops of Boyne, but the street is quiet. It's a short hop to the ferry to get to Charlevoix as well. I'd definitely stay here again.

We had a blast! The house was great. Just the right size for our family of four. Perfect location. Had all the amenities you could need and that most other rentals don't keep on hand.

We left two days early because we didn’t find this house comfortable. The only place to sit was on the kitchen chairs. The sofa and upholstered chair were so soft, you sunk down into them like sitting on a beanbag. There was a picnic table outside, but this faces a fairly busy street, only partially blocked by some shrubs. The house, overall, was clean, with the exception of dark streaks under the rim of the toilet bowl, clearly visible from the hallway when the toilet lid is up. The appliances were almost new and well-maintained. The kitchen was well stocked, with a few exceptions. While there were three new saucepans from IKEA,the small no-stick skillet was discolored on the outside and no washing could remove the stains. Similarly, there was one large casserole dish, that had probably been Corningware in a previous life. The orange color was almost gone and the interior was so badly scratched that we had to line it with foil. Because of Covid, we tried to eat more meals st the house. I’m sure future renters would appreciate your replacing these two worn items. The linens were all fairly new and in good condition. The washer and dryer were stacked and large capacity. The only problem is that the controls for the dryer were at the top of the machine and could not be seen without standing on a stool. A folding stool was provided but it was not very stable.A step ladder would be a safer alternative.
