About this cottage rental
Stunning newly-built Caribbean-style cottages in 'Bay Gardens', a gated community on the beautiful North Coast of Antigua in the upscale Hodges Bay area.
The romantic Master bedroom in the Main Cottage has a Bassett King-size canopy bed with mosquito net, dresser and armoire, and a spacious bathroom with his/hers sinks, and Victorian rainfall showerhead (plus hand-held). The bedroom opens up onto a lovely veranda looking out at the pool, where you could enjoy a morning coffee.
The fully-stocked chef's kitchen is complete with Whirlpool fridge, gas oven, & dishwasher, Cuisinart coffee maker & toaster, and Vitamix blender. There is a large granite island looking into the open-concept living room tastefully furnished in the British Colonial style, where you can watch the flat-screen smart TV or surf the net. The huge covered porch has a dining table, hammock and plenty of seating areas, where you can read a book, play cards or a board game, take a nap, or eat a meal in the open air. The whole space is light and airy with lots of doors, large floor-to ceiling windows, vaulted roof and 2 ceiling fans, a Dyson Cool Tower fan, as well as air-conditioning in the bedroom to keep you comfortable while you sleep.
Out front is a beautiful plunge pool to cool off in, with a wooden deck surrounding it, where you can lounge or eat.
The GuestHouse called Turquoise Turtle has a 4-poster Queen-size 'plantation' bed also with a mosquito net. It is furnished with antiques throughout and has a bar-sink, mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker, kettle, and a smart-tv in a wicker cabinet. It has its own separate bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a vintage tiffany ceiling fan, another Dyson Cool Tower fan, and the whole space is air conditioned. There is a comfy padded mahogany bench on the covered porch to relax with a coffee or a 'sundowner'.

Terra Cottage is our new favorite place to stay!!! If you're looking for a place that embraces you upon arrival, you need to book Terra Cottage Immediately. We were celebrating my husband's 55th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay. We're already planning to return next year.

We absolutely loved our stay at Terra Cottage and its smaller guest cottage. A stunning home with a lovely plunge pool that turned out to be larger than expected. A very attentive host, too. We'd love to come back. Highly recommended!

Nestled in a lush and tranquil corner of Bay Gardens, Laura’s two beautiful cottages were exactly what we had hoped for and so much more. All in all a perfect retreat to either chill out at all day or return to after a day exploring the very welcoming island of Antigua. A truly wonderful home surrounded by rustling palms, we especially loved dipping in and out of the refreshing pool and relaxing on the huge and perfectly appointed veranda where the numerous green throated hummingbirds and inquisitive bullfinches were a joy to watch.Both fully equipped cottages have very comfy beds with mosi nets, luxury showers rooms with a never ending supply of towels, coffee makers, refrigeration, ceiling fans and air conditioning, our list goes on and on! The chef’s equipped kitchen in Terra Cottage is impressive, and when we didn’t feel like cooking we walked to Dawns Restaurant at the end of the short drive for extremely delicious local food and cocktails.Laura’s attention to welcome and comfort is second to none. Arriving at night she had arranged a delicious roti dinner prepared and left ready to heat up by the lovely Amanda, along with beer and a well stocked fridge with breakfast essentials. She also helped us arrange car hire with Michael that included a very smooth airport pick up and return.Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home Laura. You went above and beyond for us, you are a superstar super host and your gifts are perfect momentos!

We really enjoyed our stay. The mosquitoes were a problem for us, but we didn’t allow them to take away the joy of being in a beautiful setting. The property manager Ebby was very efficient and Laura, our host, was the best. We enjoyed exploring the island. The property is beautiful.
