The building, apartments, and area are fresh and new. There are a lot of places to sit outside. The pool is quite big and cleaned each day (night). There is a great view of the olive and grape fields, especially during sunrise. All the surrounding is well-kept and very clean. There is a big parking space to leave a car and a small place to park near the building to pack and unpack. If you're lucky you can meet nice people who are renting other apartments. If traveling with friends and renting more than one apartment, there is a lot of "social space" outside to hang out together.
The AC is broken or it's locked to a minimum level so you can say that there is no AC in that place. After two days you could smell a plumbing system in one of the bathrooms (quite a standard in Italy but that was very intense). Mosquito nets on the windows should be installed. Some of the apartments are just next to the street and may be very noisy. The most important: it is not located in Castagneto! You must drive about 5 minutes to the city and be lucky to find a parking space. There was also no freezer, only a fridge.
