This was a wonderful stay overall. The house is lovely, super clean, comfortable. It has 2 floors: top floor is bedrooms and a main bathroom, the lower floor is kitchen, second bathroom and the garden. The location is great — 6 min walk from a little beach, where mostly locals go. 2 min walk from the port, 4-5 min walk from a bakery and a supermarket. Ciro – the host – was lovely, always responsive, even helped us to find a boat for a day trip. It takes about 25-30 minutes to walk on foot from Dapia (where the ferries arrive), but there are taxis and horse carriages right where you get off the ferry.
The only downside is that the AC is located in the hallway, so it never fully covers the bedrooms.
The staircase leading to the kitchen is spiral, so it might be challenging for someone with accessibility issues, but you can go around the house and enter the kitchen from the garden.
