Portico d'Ottavia, the ancient Rome

Location was excellent with some nice bars, morning coffee shops and a fabulous bakery right outside.

Aircon is a unit that has to be pulled out of a cupboard and the exhaust connected to a hole in a window. If you use it then light floods into the room as you can't shut the shutter. Even in may the room was warm

Very clear instructions how to get in the apartment. Host was very responsive and helpful in all situations. When we had to contact him late in the evening he was replying instantly. Apartment is cosy with all necessary amenities, WI-FI is good and fast. New windows provide peace and quite when closed, because location can be busy and loud. Location is awesome, you can walk anywhere in the city centre and to all important sightseeing spots in Rome, we didn't have to use public transportation once (only to the airport)

Stairs are steep, but we knew that in advance, would not recommend for families with small children or trolleys. Some dust in the apartment, but not because it wasn't cleaned, but due to building being old and a wooden roof.

Placeringen i det jødiske kvarter var helt perfekt!! Og baren hvor det viste sig, at nøglen skulle hentes, var et super hyggeligt sted, hvor det de ansatte var fantastiske, søde og meget hjælpsomme.

Det tog noget tid at få nøglen. I beskeden på booking.com stod der, at man skulle åbne via et link. Men ved at skrive med værten på SMS, fandt vi ud af, at vi skulle hente nøglen i en bar. Det kunne godt have været skrevet i beskrivelsen på booking.com. Der kom ikke ret meget vand ud af bruseren, så at skylle sæben væk var en kamp.

Mieszkanie nie jest zbyt duże, ale ma wszystkie niezbędne udogodnienia. Kuchnia i łazienka dobrze wyposażone. Było czysto, przytulnie i, co najważniejsze, bardzo ciepło, jak na październik. Główne atrakcje są bardzo blisko, kilka minut spacerem. W pobliżu znajdują się sklepy, piekarnie i lokalne targi. Wszystko nam się podobało!

Okna wychodzą na główną ulicę, pełną rozmaitych restauracji, więc jeśli komuś przeszkadza poranny lub wieczorny włoski hałas, ten apartament nie będzie dobrym wyborem. Ale dla nas ta żywa atmosfera była w sam raz.
