About this cottage rental
I have 3x delightfully restored beach cottages in South Redondo a block from the beach-located on the same grounds as both other beach cottages (BBC1 & BBC3).
The Burnham Beach Cottage(s) was built at the turn of the century originally as a B&B with many cottages......We are a unique property so please feel free to email us with any questions or requests.
Simply put……a B&B experience with the privacy & independence of a vacation rental…...
This cottage comprises 1 bedroom, living room with comfy queen-size sofa/futon bed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with clawfoot tub with shower and grounds where you can BBQ, relax in the grounds or just take in the evening sunsets on your porch. You will be provided with ironed bed linens, bath & beach towels, wi-fi, TV, iron & ironing-board, bath salts so as to enjoy the claw-foot tub to the fullest.
Please note the cottage is ideal for 2 but can accommodate 4. * Nightly rate is based on 2 people sharing
Enjoy the ocean & views within minutes from the cottage. Walk,stroll,jog or ride the coastline path that starts here in Redondo and goes all the way to Malibu; ...easily engage in surfing, swimming, volleyball, walking, running, skating, biking, hiking....there's heaps to do in these beach cities & the list continues....art/food/music festivals, outdoor movies in the parks/on the beach, international volleyball tournaments to watch, or if you would rather just relax in our gardens or on the beach and do nothing... you can do that too...
Varied selection of restaurants/cafes are on hand.
We are a quintessential SoCal beach town,close to LA without being in the hectic-ness of LA. All is easily accessible by freeways, public transportation, sightseeing tours pick-up at local Redondo Beach hotel.
Enjoy LA in a beach oasis- it makes coming to LA quite a different experience...
Terrific spacious outdoor peaceful yard area(s) great for socializing, reading, chatting to new friends or just enjoying the sunsets.

I had such a great stay here. Lovely having a fully equipped kitchen to be able to cook. I got to bike and rollerblade on the boardwalk, read in the hammock, and explore Redondo Beach, including the Thursday farmer’s market. I’d love to return here in the future. Terrific deal for the price; such a special place.

We had just a day and an evening in L.A. and this was such a fun ending to our time in California. The bungalow is absolutely adorable and beautifully outfitted.I didn't notice from the listing that there are three (I think?) bungalows all in a row, fairly close to one another, with beautiful gardens in between. Would be so perfect for a family reunion or several families to stay at.Great Mexican food nearby. Doable walk to the beach for folks with no mobility issues. Thanks for a great stay!

The courtyard was charming but the furniture could use a good scrubbing. The house was cute but the furniture could be more comfy. Overall it was a nice stay
