About this cottage rental
I have 3x delightfully restored beach cottages in South Redondo a block from the beach-located on the same grounds as the other beach cottages (BBC2 & BBC3).
The Burnham Beach Cottage(s) was built at the turn of the century originally as a B&B.
We are a unique property so please feel free to email me with any questions or requests.
Simply put……a B&B experience with the privacy & independence of a vacation rental…...
This cottage comprises of 1 bedroom, living room with comfy queen-size sofa/futon bed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower and grounds where you can BBQ, relax around in the grounds or just take in the evening sunsets on your porch. You will be provided with ironed bed linens, bath & beach towels, wi-fi, TV, iron & ironing-board, bath salts so as to enjoy the claw-foot tub to the fullest.
Please note the cottage is ideal for 2 but can accommodate 4.
Enjoy the ocean & views within minutes from the cottage. Walk,stroll,jog or ride the coastline path that starts here in Redondo and goes all the way to Malibu; ...easily engage in surfing, swimming, volleyball, walking, running, skating, biking, hiking....there's heaps to do in these beach cities & the list continues....art/food/music festivals, outdoor movies in the parks/on the beach, international volleyball tournaments to watch, or if you would rather just relax in our gardens or on the beach and do nothing... you can do that too...
Varied selection of restaurants/cafes are on hand.
We are a quintessential SoCal beach town,close to LA without being in the hectic rush of LA. All is easily accessible by freeways, public transportation, sightseeing tours pick-up at local hotel.
Enjoy LA in a beach oasis- it makes coming to LA quite a different experience...
Terrific spacious outdoor peaceful yard area(s) great for socializing, reading, chatting to new friends or just enjoying the sunsets.

Loved this place! Can’t wait to come back. Wendy is amazing and the location is hard to beat… it’s about a 5 minute walk to the pier. The cottages are super cute and there are some nice little outdoor spaces to relax in as well. We will probably be regulars here :)

Such a lovely home away from home! Wendy made us feel very welcome. She provided us with her hometown knowledge and made our stay so much more fulfilled and memorable. Thank you so much for all of it!

The cottage was tastefully decorated and had all the things we needed to make our trip enjoyable. Although there was no AC, Wendy provided electric fans, and it was also relatively cool during our stay. It was an 8-minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Wendy was very quick to respond to our questions, and residents were very friendly. Our family will definitely come back.

The cottage was perfect and the common areas were very relaxing. The location was great, but the interactions with Wendy were even better. She gave us a lot of key tips for things to see and for getting around.I would highly recommend her and this location for a similar family visiting the L.A. / Redondo Beach area.
