The unobstructed view from the back of the house made us feel we were in a national park! Deer and horses, hawks and bluebirds filled the valley and the silence made us feel we were a million miles away from civilization. The house has older furnishings but very functional for the most part. The beds were very comfortable. Our concerns were addressed by the management company. We would come back! Thank you.

Location and overall this house was ok. The kitchen could have been cleaner and there were many stairs to navigate. The bathrooms and fixtures were functional but dated. The bedroom basement had only 1 electric plug and the beds were a bit soft.

Check in/out super easy. We loved the room layouts + fireplace & kitchen, which we used a lot. Had 9 adults + 3 small children & had plenty of room for everyone. Views are stunning & house is comfortable. Mgmt was prompt in responding before our trip & were helpful in orienting us to the area & knowing what to expect when I called. (didn't need to contact them during our stay) They even called us when we left a set of expensive ear buds at the house after checkout so that we could return & grab them. Very cool! Shuttle service for skiing is awesome. Be aware only master BR has ensuite bath. Mattress toppers need to be replaced... a couple of the beds felt more like hammocks. We'd def stay again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at several places in CB- and this place is not the best, but it’s not the worst. No garage- which I guess I missed when looking initially. One of the cabinets was FULL of mouse droppings. We just pinned that cabinet shut. Pretty sure there was a dead mouse somewhere as there was flies in the house in the middle of winter. One of the toilets (lower level) did not flush well at all- and zero recycling facilities. All of that said, it probably has every kitchen gadget you could want or need.

The free shuttle stop was just up the street and the shuttle drivers dropped us off at the end of the driveway when it was raining. The place could use a good cleaning - we used the bottom floor bedroom but needed to clean out some spiders first. Main floor is great with fireplace for those chilly mornings!

Our overall summary, from 3 families meeting for annual round up... Far better than we even imagined or dreamed. The views from the main floor and decks were phenomenal. None of the pictures in the listing came close to the reality. Perfect location with beautiful views always waiting for you. The house is well maintained. The kitchen is more than adequately supplied to cook all your meals in house. The overriding questions during our week were "Can we book for next summer now?" and "Why would we stay anywhere else next time?". Thank you for a great week! Great memories for everyone.

The location is great, the sleeping arrangements were also good. Unfortunately, it is clear that this property is being neglected. The major issue is the deck—this is dangerous. The deck shakes and has VISIBLE structural concerns. This is unacceptable. The microwave doesn’t work but there is a second, small countertop microwave that semi-works. The dishwasher needs to be left open or it will run. The ice machine only worked on the last day we were there despite PM coming to “fix it.” Overall, it’s a decent place and only needs a little mai ramen even to make it great. But the deck...just neglectful.

Had a great ski weekend with friends. Great accommodations and space for a large group, we had 12 people. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary equipment, but don't count on them for spices! :) Great location by the mountain, access to town. Fireplace was wonderful!

This house was perfect as the main level allowed everyone to have room, the kitchen was of good size, and there were plenty of bedrooms. We also loved that the shuttle ran right by this location. We would definitely consider staying her again with a group of the same size (12).

Upon arrival we checked and found evidence of bedbugs included 2 dead bugs, black dots appearing to be bug excrement and tons of bug exoskeleton on right corner of boxpring below mattress. Inspected all other beds and found no other bugs. Immediately called PR property management company to communicate finding and see if there was an alternative place to stay. The only alternative was a house that was not suitable for our family. Since there were 6 of us and the house accommodates 15, nobody slept on the floor with the room with bedbugs. We chose to stay since the property was otherwise nice and appeared to be well-maintained. If we had been a large group or had been forced to sleep on that floor, we would have had to cancel our reservation, cancel our vacation, and just drive back home – 16 hours away. We called Monday to see about a professional exterminator to come out to check other beds for bedbugs and a man named Greg who introduced himself as the President of the PR property management company very rudely explained that we did not see any bedbugs, that they did not exist in the mountains, that he had been in the business for 30 years, and “how old are you anyways – YEAH.” He noted that our option was to leave the property and be refunded for nights we did not stay, or stay and accept the risk. We explained that there were no alternative locations to stay due to the holiday weekend and he told us to “go home then.” The conversation with this man was extremely unpleasant; he was patronizing, insulting, and accusatory, insisting we just wanted money, that we brought the bedbugs, that if it were up to him he would evict us immediately. Due to the hostility of the conversation, we reached out directly to the owner, unsure as to whether the property management company had even communicated the property issue to the owner. The owner was extremely nice, but we were offered no discount for the unused bedrooms which was disappointing since we paid for full use of the house and this floor was unusable. This house has nice views, but the contact at the PR property management company was incredibly vile towards us when we brought a problem with the property to their attention. We love Colorado and love Crested Butte, but will certainly never choose to return to this property again in the future.

Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay & would stay again. House was very clean, beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, easy to spread out, fireplace & panoramic views were wonderful. Only negatives were no garage access in the winter & if the snow/ice gets compacted on the sloped driveway, you’ll need 4-wheel drive or sand/kitty litter to get out (however, driveway does get plowed if there is 6” or more of snow). Property management was great, very easy to communicate. Shuttle stop is right by the house but you can also walk to slopes.

Property was in a great setting! Neighborhood was very nice & close to town with free bus service if needed. House was large enough for our group of 9 with 4 regular bedrooms & one loft that slept a minimum of 4. Kitchen was nicely updated. We loved the option of eating outside on the beautiful patio! If we had any complaints it would be that it could have been cleaned more thoroughly before our arrival. We found mouse droppings in the kitchen (on the counter & in some of the cabinets.) We found visible mouse traps under the sink but they were thankfully empty!😳We heard those critters though as they were pretty active from what sounded like within the walls. Sorry to have to complain about this but all your guests may not be as tolerant as we were of these little furry guys! Hope this helps to get an exterminator out there.

We had a great time on Mt Crested Butte. The busses ran by the home and allowed for easy access to the town below. We will be back and look into staying in this home in the near future. I do not have anything negative to say about this rental.

AMAZING VIEW! Recently got back from my third trip to this amazing house in Mt Crested Butte. The upgrades are so great, and I am convinced 51 Paradise Road is the best location for winter or summer visitors to this area. This house has the most amazing view of the maroon bells. No better place to enjoy this view during the summer than from the brand new deck, where we grill out and relax after a day of hiking or fishing. Being on the bus route is a huge plus during winter for my family and I who all make it out to the lift area at different times. This house and this town have it all! I look forward to many more trips.

I am one of the five Denver girls that has been to this property 4 times over the last 5 years. We have a great time there and hardly want to leave during our stay. With the upgrades that were done this year - in particular, the new deck, it was even better. Having a grill was a real perk as well. When you first walk in and go up to the level with the living room and dining room, the view out the windows (which run the width of the house) just takes your breath away! It is always well maintained and we do love hanging out there. Crested Butte is a wonderful place to experience and staying at this property makes it even better!

A group of 5 girlfriends have rented this property 4 times over the last 5 years as a long weekend get away, and we absolutely love it! The scenery is gorgeous, the house is very comfortable, welcoming, and well maintained. The new deck was definitely a hangout place for us, drinking coffee or wine and visiting in the sun depending on time of day. We saw a red fox, deer, and para-sailers (hang gliders?) floating off the peak. Last year we even had a bear siting. We always go into town for a light lunch and shopping, and occasionally visit Gothic for some hiking. Always a relaxing and peaceful experience. We plan to return again, and again, and again...

We loved this place! After summers of beach vacations, ocean cruises, and city adventures - CB tops the list for a perfect family vacation! This property was exactly what we were looking for: spacious, well-appointed, clean, incredible view from every window, comfortable - you name it! The quaint town was perfect for taking in the art festival, shopping at the farmers market, eating great food, listening to live music, and even taking in a movie on a rainy afternoon. The mountains and hiking speak for themselves - there was a trail for every hiking ability, kayaking, great fly-fishing, horseback riding - something for everyone! This amazing home nestled in the mountains along with all the outdoor activities made for an unforgettable family vacation! Lifetime memories were made this summer - we will definitely re-book and return next year!

Love, love, love this property and Crested Butte! If you have never been to Crested Butte or if you have but have never stayed at this property, I highly recommend both. The views from every room in the house are breathtaking. The over-sized deck has a panoramic view of Snodgrass all the way to Mount Crested Butte. I have to say sitting out on the deck watching the sunset was my favorite part; however, runner up was watching so many deer early in the morning feeding on Snodgrass. This house is perfect for multiple families to enjoy. With all the different levels, you have so much room to spread out. My kids loved their room the best because their "bunk bed" room stayed very cool at night and the bunk beds were extremely comfortable. The living room actually is two living rooms in one so some could watch tv while others played games. It was perfect! The hikes in CB are second to none. To name a few, we hiked "The Forts", Lost Lakes, and Judd Falls. We took paddle boards to Lake Irwin and Emerald Lake - so fun! The restaurants are amazing. I love that there are no fast food restaurants! A few that I recommend are Secret Stash if you want pizza, Donitas if you want Mexican food, and Slogar for some excellent fried chicken. I also recommend taking stuff for cookouts. Hardly anything compares to a hotdog on a charcoal grill out in the beautiful scenery of CB. For dessert, you must try the donut place, Niky's mini donuts - my husband couldn't get enough of them. I can tell that the owner of this property has done everything to offer us a relaxing, no fuss, getaway. The house is incredible, the kitchen has all the appliances you would need, and like I said before, the views are just spectacular! The home is so comfortable and inviting with all the little details checked off too. You will fall in love with this place and CB!

I met some friends in Crested Butte, CO and stayed a week at this property. The views from any room are fantastic - especially the north facing windows that face the Snodgrass area. This property has plenty of room on multiple levels. One room with bunk beds is great for kids/teenagers. The kitchen is well equipped and has every appliance you could want. I understand that this property is on the condo loop which makes it very convenient for skiers in the winter. The outside deck on the west side of the house was probably my favorite area. It is very large, has a table with eight chairs for dining outside, and also has comfortable seating for 12+ people. Having a glass of wine, watching the sun set, and visiting with friends cannot be beat. It just doesn't get any better than this. I would definitely come back to this property again and would recommend this to anyone traveling to Crested Butte any time of the year. There is so much to do during the winter skiing months, and it is like a completely different experience in the summer with all the hiking, fishing, golfing, etc. We had several hikes during the week: Lost Lakes, the Forts, Judd Falls, Emerald Lake to name a few. There are so many restaurants in Crested Butte it would take a month to enjoy all of them. The Avalanche (on the mountain), and Slogar, Secret Stash, Donita's (in town) are so good. And, there is a donut place on the main street of CB at the far west end of the street, that is to die for. Mini donuts topped with anything you can imagine. Had to be our last stop before heading back up the mountain to our 'home' in Crested Butte. The owner has taken great care in decorating each room and provides lots of amenities for guests to appreciate. I can hardly wait to return.
