Located 2 hours north of Toronto on the exclusive north west end of Lake Joseph. The cottage is situated on a beautiful south point with boating and swim docks on the East and West exposures allowing for sun all day. Ideal for 1 or 2 families; there are 6 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths, 2 well equipped Kitchens, walk-in Pantry and 3 Fridges, 2 stone Fireplaces and 3 generous Living / Recreation areas outfit this 3500 sq. ft. Cottage. Canoe/ Kayaks / Paddle Boat, a Horseshoe Pitch, Ping Pong, Satellite TV, Internet, Indoor and outdoor Sound System and lots of Games are provided for recreation. Boat rentals for touring or water skiing are available at 2 local marinas. Prestigious Rocky Crest Golf Course is 5 minutes away by boat or car. The property has 1000 ft. of shoreline and 10 acres for walking and hiking. Quiet, private and luxurious; this is the ideal retreat or entertainment spot.

The cottage and property were both very nice. There were more items in the house than I expected, many appliances and cookware that were helpful in the kitchen, puzzles, cleaning products, etc.

The property itself is stunning with exposure on a smaller bay and also the bigger lake. Facing south and west and east. Three different docks, a beautiful rocky point, so many great swimming options with deep water right off the property. There’s a beautiful mature perennial garden with stunning lilies and rhododendrons. Really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and pedal boats and there are canoes. Also an adorable kids safe waiting area for toddlers. Really a lot of privacy, a few friendly neighbours in the distance. Very little boat traffic, we were there during the week. Great location for boating, we went to Port Carling and had a lot of days of wakeboarding and tubing. There’s a boat house with one bed and a lot of bedrooms in the main house. 10 of us slept comfortably. There are two living rooms, a recreation pool table space, a treadmill with weights, two kitchens, a small breakfast table, and a larger dining table, and everything that you will need is provided. Don’t forget to bring paper towel, Toilet paper, beach towels. Lots of parking spots. I walked on the driveway for a few kilometres every day through stunning Muskoka mixed forest. Saw two Deers twice. Wi-Fi is expensive there so we brought books.Great place to go with a larger group and really get a lot of exposure to nature. Temperature of the lake was fantastic, high 70s. This was late July. The teenagers really enjoyed the small hot tub, the big screen TVs. Grocery shopping about 20 minutes away.

We rent a large property every year - we have 8 young grandchildren and this was not a place where they were welcome .
Although there are 3 bathrooms there is only 1 shower and for a summer vacation at least 2 showers would have made it much more comfortable .
Our vacation was spoiled by difficulties with the owner after we returned -- buyer beware .
