It's an old home, so there is character to the place. The back yard was a nice place to hold family dinners and the kitchen was well stocked with necessary pots, pans and so forth. While the photos on VRBO are accurate, there are a few noteworthy items future renters should take into consideration. The dishwasher in the kitchen is not attached to the wall and will fall out when you try to load it. We chose to use the sink to wash the dishes so as to not cause more issues.
The half bath sink faucet in the upstairs bedroom lacks water pressure -- regardless of whether anything else is running or not. This was brought up with the owner, who felt it was the City's issue.
Given that this is Maine, even in the summer, plan to pack a few blankets. We made a Target run for these!
