About this house rental
Relax in this CLEAN, COZY and NEWLY furnished lodge. 2 Bedroom/ 2 1/2 baths Sleeps 8 people comfortably with a king in the master, 2 queens in the second bedroom and a queen in the living room(available upon request). (ALL BRAND NEW FURNITURE AND COMFORTABLE MATTRESSES). Open concept with fireplace in the living, dining and kitchen area. 60" inch TV in the living room, 43" TVs in both bedrooms all have internet, FREE WIFI and Netflix(with personal account). The 1st floor deck overlooks state forest which is beautiful during all seasons and surrounds the Shawnee Mountains! The spa room with 2nd floor Balcony is great to get a breath of fresh air, which also overlooks state forest and is beautiful during all seasons! Both the 1st floor deck and 2nd floor balcony are private for miles! Included in your stay is access to indoor Hot tub. We hope you enjoy your stay and join us for years to come!

Very nice unit. Spacious, clean rooms. Woodsy decor. Quiet and good location. Host was helpful on getting us checked in and alerting us to the amenities in the unit. Guide book in the unit provides lots of places to visit while you’re there. There’s a nice basket with a few K-cups for the coffee (bring more if you’re staying for a couple days) and bottle of wine. Kitchen has all the utensils, pots, pans necessary. Make sure to bring your spices, oil, etc. another recommendation is that if you drink water bring plenty with you. Water is very hard and mineralized and not desirable for drinking.

We stayed here for three nights July ‘25. It's a lovely townhouse that is perfectly situated for winter outdoor activities. While our stay was good, the lack of a few details prevented it from being great.First, bring your own toiletries. The listing does not mention providing them, but it also does not call out the lack of them. We were disappointed that a nice home did not provide even a mini bar of soap in the shower. In the kitchen, the offerings were scant again. There was no sponge to wipe dishes or counters, nor soap to wash dishes or hands. There were two unlabeled baskets with pods on the counter. With no labels, we were left googling images to determine which pods were for the dishwasher and which were for the laundry. We also recommend that users bring their own coffee supplies. For two adults for four days and three nights, we were given five coffee pods. For cooking, there are pots, pans, salt, pepper, and sugar; you'll need to bring all other essentials, like oil.The house instructions also lacked details. There was no info regarding check-out. We reached out to the hosts to learn what they would like us do. Similarly, we received no directions to reach the rental until we requested them the night before we were scheduled to arrive.On the plus side, the owners are very responsive; they got back to us quickly every time. It's a nice place to stay; the jetted tub, shower, and bathtub are all great, but users need to fill in a number of absent details.
