Countryhouse with panoramic view-ideal holiday for families or groups of friends

We had - 14 of us, 11 adults three children - a really good week at Borgo Alto. The location is stunning and the space is great. As a former hotel, the accommodation is a bit odd for a big family group - with separate rooms in different buildings, but it worked well. The only thing it lacks is a comfortable lounge area. There is a dining room, but mainly you have to sit in hard chairs. But - even in the last week of October - we were able to spend most of our time outside. The setting of which is like a millionaire’s. The pool was well used, despite not being heated, and the view from it spectacular. It has to be said, though, that although everything was clean, there was a good deal which was faded. Towels s bit thin, bedding ditto. But the location and the weather overrode all of that, easily.

We stayed for a whole week in this property, a big family of 11 adults and 3 infants. Before our arrival Martina did everything to make sure that our stay will be perfect, and helped us with a lot of questions. During our stay, everything was beyond perfect, the property was an hotel with 7 rooms, divided to actually 3 properties - 4 rooms, 3 rooms and 1 which contains big living room, dining room and huge kitchen. Each room has its own bathroom, and the rooms are great and was super comfortable for all of us. In the property there is also football court, Tennis Court (with the equipment), and a great pool with a seaview. The kitchen was amazing and super comfortable, it contains huge fridge, 6 different Gaz, dish washer, and it is well equipped for every meal. Also, there is a great coffee machine, and 2 different BBQs. The dining room contained plenty of place for everyone. To summarize, this property is a great choice for a big family or for a big group of friends. Definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful time at Borgo Alto. It is a bit isolated but the location with the view is fantastic. The swinming-pool is a highlight of the location in its setting and in its size. A real pool. The facilities: the bedrooms and bath-rooms, the kitchen, the dining -room are spacious and clean. Some maintenance would improve some aspects but overall they are adequate. The communication with Martine was good and with quick response. Overall: a very nice place to stay.

This was a great venue for the 10 of us in our family group. Plenty of room at the pool and at the dining area.The property is a little more run down than indicated in the photos.The kitchen was a well set up and easy to useThe pool was great.There were some things I was expecting eg soap in the bathrooms and extra toilet paper. This would have been good to know ahead of time so we were better prepared.
