Villa Luna Podstrana

Host met us at the villa and kept communication open & easy through whattsap before and during our stay, responding quickly each time we made contact.

The dustbin had not been emptied from the previous guests so our rubbish had to be stacked on top of the bin and around it, not great considering the cost to stay there ! Also, the tiled area around the swimming pool was VERY dangerous when wet, my son slipped 3 times in one afternoon hurting his knee, we had to lay towels down from the pool as a pathway to the villa door for safety, especially as we had a 2 Yr old and a 4 Yr old, we did ask for more towels because of having to use them for the ground but none arrived. Again, spending £thousands as we did, you expect safety especially around the pool. One other thing that we were a little disappointed in was, there was NO shallow end in the pool, so the children could not touch the bottom at any part except in the jacuzzi, so the pool is really NOT child friendly (OR adult friendly if you cannot swim) This is certainly something to consider if you enjoy the pool.

We loved the pool and counter current, views and pool table. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. We really appreciated the late checkout as we had an evening flight. Very close to the beach, cafes and supermarket. All walking distance although you might want to drive to the supermarket for a big shop.

Driving up the zigzag road. Although the view wouldn't have been as good lower down. We preferred to walk to the beach or to restaurants.

The property has a great layout for a group large and spacious and the pool and outdoor area is a lovely place to spend time.

Overall the place was clean but there were a few things like dirty dishes on our arrival broken downstairs bathroom and no internet for the whole 7 days. We did receive a partial refund but it was a real inconvenience.

Everything was of an exceptionally high standard. The property was immaculate and so well cared for including the pool and grounds.

Absolutely nothing. All fantastic.
