Lovely location, but needs work

Location. Welcome, hamper.

The waste from the ensuite bathroom would slowly collect in the bathroom next door. My sister would keep finding unwanted surprises in her toilet. There was a coffee machine with no coffee pods. The front door kept sticking when opened and would make a horrible loud squeaking noise, which would wake my teenage nephew. The blinds weren't great for blocking out the light. I wouldn't call it luxury. I stayed in the penthouse a few years ago, which was luxury in comparison. If you are after something special, stick to the penthouse.

Fantastic location, lovely standard of service and as always the reception staff were excellent.

The sofa was a little uncomfortable, and the pans could have been better for cooking - but small problems and nothing that detracted from a fantastic stay

More accessible electrical sockets near the beds. I use a CPAP machine and was unable to sleep in the master bedroom as there wasnt a socket near the bed

Spacious apartment close to the beach

The location was great and our host offered links and suggestions in advance for bookings, etc. which was a great orientation for us as newcomers to the area. It takes 5 minutes from the apartment to get down to the beach, and it's such a fantastic beach with a welcoming family vibe. It's a spacious apartment with lots of thoughtful items in the kitchen and living room, and great to have parking and a shed to store beach stuff. We had a great stay, and a bonus to have access to the pool and communal facilities. We would recommend!

With the doors and windows, all open there is some noise from the local eateries, etc, but we didn't have an issue with this and the little ones were on the other side so protected from that. On the flip side, it was great to have so many eateries as options close by.

Wonderful location - will return

Loved the fact that there were 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Undercover parking right outside the apartment. The views from the balconies were fantastic! The receptionist, housekeeping contact and holiday management contact were friendly, polite and helpful. We made use of the indoor swimming pool each day, which the kids loved. The beach is just a 5min walk downhill, lots of places to eat, a pharmacy (very useful) and a little adventure park which was great fun for the kids too. The starter pack of milk and drinks was a great touch!

These were not major issues but just some things worth noting. They did not negatively impact our stay and we would happily return to this apartment. - The tv in the sitting area is not a smart tv, so only freeview (no Netflix, etc.). The master bedroom tv is a smart tv but connection can be slow at times. - The boiler in the twin room is quite loud - On popular nights (weekends) the parties are quite loud (can be felt and heard)

Perfect

We spent four nights at Byron 8 with two friends and couldn’t fault it, the apartment is ample in size and one of the best locations in woolacombe, car parking space is just opposite the apartment door and is a good size, Sam’s communication before we arrived was brilliant with all the information we needed upon arrival, there was even a few complimentary beers, Prosecco, tea,coffee and milk. Thanks again Sam it was perfect.

we paid for breakfast for 2 mornings for 3 people but did not receive any food because there was no resteraunt in the apartments. there was brundles attached to apartments but they had no knowledge of our booking and didn't open until 11 anyway. I would like a refund of my £60 please.

Seaside 3 bed apartment / Woolacombe

The standard throughout the apartment was excellent. Everything kitchen wise you needed was there. 2 shower rooms & 1 bathroom is great. Great views of the beach & bay. Parking on site. Surf board & beach chair storage outside in small beach hut just by the car park. walking distance to great eateries. The pool is fabulous & sauna. Distant size. Due to covid needs to be booked before you arrive. Cannot book every day at the moment.

Only a couple of downsides. The 2nd bedroom has the boiler in the fitted wardrobe so is noisy. Take ear plugs. The view from the 2nd/3rd bedroom is the car park block at the rear.
