Villa Ragusea With a Private Beach

Beautiful well appointed property in a stunning location. We booked this as a family celebration for my husband’s 70th birthday, the property and location didn’t disappoint. The property is in a very quiet location along the beautiful coast road, we hired a car from Dubrovnik airport and were glad we did, taxis would have worked out expensive. We all had an amazing time, the youngest in our group of 8 was 1, the oldest 77. It’s a large property that is perfect for family groups, the host Giovanni was very helpful and provided travel cot and highchair on request. There were pool towels, hairdryers, lovely quality comfortable bedding, a couple of throws for chilly evenings on the terrace or balcony, literally they have thought of everything to make your stay a home from home with a very luxurious feel. We had bbq evenings out on the terrace, sat under the covered patio down by the sea watching the fishes in the clear blue sea whilst sipping our g & t’s in the early evenings. Heaven! The younger adults in our group enjoyed kayaking, swimming in the sea and snorkelling during the day. We had day trips to Dubrovnik (fantastic city) and nipped across the border to Bosnia too. We’ll be talking about this holiday for a long time and at some point we will go back!

If I had to be picky and find something I didn’t like I would say that the pool does need to be a few degrees warmer, we had to prize the kids out of the pool sooner than they wanted to because it was cold and their teeth were chattering, our oldest member of the group didn’t go in because it was too cold for her. The younger adults all went in and splashed around, but we were there in late October, a cooler pool in hotter summer weather I’m sure would be fine.

Great location, the host Giovanni was really always available and gebe us the bust recommendations, the house is very comfortable and the kitschy very well equipped, ideal for group or families

Absolutely gorgeous place. perfect house, pool, staff. everything was good. i will definately come back. good place to stay with 2-3 families or group of friends. Private beach is perfect. Pool is very nice and has a beautiful view. Rooms are big, nice and all house is modern and clean. And host Giovanni - very friendly and helpful. He organized us full day boat trip - it was very good. also helped us to find and book oyster tour.
