It was a really great apartment. Well appointed and very comforatble. Great host!

Sadly, the location, while very central, is just too close to the port. Extremely noisy and directly behind a petrol station.

The location is convenient — very central and right by the harbor.

Our stay was unfortunately disappointing. The apartment was extremely noisy due to the nearby bars and restaurants, but the biggest issue was the business located directly above our room. It sounded like clothing racks or heavy equipment were being moved around until late at night and again early in the morning, making it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. Another disappointment was that the advertised balcony was not exclusively for our room. We believe this should be clearly stated in the listing to avoid misleading guests. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom that spread throughout the room. We understand that the very humid climate may contribute to this, but it still negatively affected our stay. Also, the shower soap ran out on the second day. Overall, we paid almost CHF 400 for two nights, and for that price we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, we did not feel that the apartment offered good value for the money.
