Maridea - Les Suites Du Soleil

The apartment is lovely, even nicer than it appeared online and quite spacious. The view from the outdoor terrace is one of the loveliest we've ever experienced. The outdoor space is absolutely stunning and the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Although you do share the outdoor space with the two other apartments in the building, everyone was very respectful and it still felt private. The apartment & garden is very well appointed and absolutely spotless, it is very well taken care of by the team. The location is perfect, it was a lovely 5/10 minute stroll to the port where you can find all the main restaurants/shops and water taxis. The apartment is located up a fairly gentle hill from the port and there are several steps from the road to the property. The nearest beach is about 10/15 minutes walk away and is lovely with a restaurant/bar on site and both beach club and free beach available and plenty of shops/cafes etc nearby. The ride to the apartment at check in was much appreciated, although we did need to arrange a taxi to take us and our luggage to the ferry terminal on check out (about a 15 minute walk with suitcases) We loved our stay and will absolutely stay at this property again on our next visit to Ponza.

L’emplacement est exceptionnel, une très belle vue sur la baie de Ponza. La terrasse est très agréable et la chambre est belle et propre. Le personnel qui gère le Check in et le checkout est adorable

L’organisation est à revoir. Nous avons du attendre pour accéder à notre chambre alors que nous sommes arrivées à 17h. Le checkout est à 9h30 ce qui est très tôt pour un tel établissement où l’interêt est de profiter de la chambre. Il a fallu louer les draps (donc payer un frais en plus). La salle de bain manque d’aération et sent une forte odeur d’humidité.

The apartment was perfect. The layout was amazing. Very spacious, well stocked: linens, dishes, kitchenware. Very spacious with a comfortable living room, bath and bedroom. For these reasons I would highly recommend staying at the apartment, The apartment was a great value for the cost of our stay. The balcony in a local neighborhood was a plus.

The check in was very difficult. I received a prompt response that the apartment was available an hour earlier than 4:00. When we were at the door we had to provide them with information. It would have been more convenient if the information was requested before we were at the door. The key box was impossible to open. The neighbor next store helped us to open it. I was told the doors were tricky to open. We had a very difficult time opening our door. When I called them back to ask for help no one picked up. The number they called me on WhatsApp was deleted by them. I found the contact to call on call on Booking.com and called them for assistance with the Wi Fi. They would not pickup. Not acceptable customer service. The location was so close to the oldest food market and the major historical sites. One should be aware that the street at night had no lights and as two women we were not comfortable walking a distance to restaurants at night. I travel the world as a single person yet I was still not comfortable walking the unlit streets at night,
