The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
The vacation rental was clean.

We had a good time at Kealia Landing house. The house suited our needs just fine: three bedrooms each with their own bath for three adult couples vacationing together. The lanai and kitchen served us well. The fresh ocean breeze coming through the big windows and doors was so nice. Only a few items for maintenance or to address: we would suggest having gutters cleaned since they filled with rain water and overflowed because of debris in them. All door and window hardware need maintenance since they were hard to open and close at times. The path to the beach is very steep and the lower section is virtually invisible. You have to bushwhack through the grasses to the trail/walking path below. We would suggest knocking down the grasses so a distinct path is visible from house to trail. Be careful with the beach below the house. Towards the life guard stand is the better area. The area below the house and closer to the breakwater has many unhoused people living in cars and tents. Unsightly and at times, smelled :(

Property had great views of the oceanfront. We even saw dolphins and whales a couple of mornings. It is only a short walk to the beach. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was great for making some of our meals. Location was great for driving to anything on the island.

Love: property provided beautiful view and setting. Perfect for meditation and relaxation.
Did not like: difficult walk down hill to reach the beach. Home itself needs some updating, ie. Bathrooms and mold in the washing machine.
