Niulani Lanikai, a Kapa’a beachfront vacation rental with the flexibility to entertain up to 10 guests in three distinct on-site properties. The custom oceanfront home is built in true Hawaiian style.
Niulani Lanikai offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and is located in the popular Kauai town of Kapa’a. You’ll find yourself just steps away from the Kauai Village Shopping Center, pristine beaches, cool and funky boutiques, the incredible restaurants of Kapa’a and many of Kauai’s most popular attractions.
At this central location, you’re just a five-minute drive from Lydgate State Beach Park, Fern Grotto, Kamalani Playground and Wailua Golf Course. For those who enjoy an active experience, rent a kayak and paddle up the Wailua River to see not just the breathtaking scenery, but one of Kauai’s famous hidden waterfalls!
If you’d like to stick closer to home, simply walk outside your door and take a stroll on the walk/bike path, as you listen to the waves crash and marvel at the clear aquamarine water.
The main home of this unique Kapa’a property boasts two bedrooms, an open loft and 2 full baths. In traditional Balinese style, you’ll find lofted post-and-beam style ceilings, creating plenty of air flow throughout the great room. This area is richly decorated in island decor and offers living room, oceanfront dining and a spacious and fully equipped kitchen.
Walk out on the deck to enjoy a meal al fresco at the dining table, prepared with a custom BBQ grill.
The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed on the oceanfront side with sliding glass doors that leads out to the ocean side lanai and private marble lined bath/shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-size bed. A loft bedroom over the living area offers a full-size bed, great for kids. Both bedrooms have smart TV's.
The Surf Shack is a charming detached cottage with one bedroom (Queen bed), one bath home with a cozy living area with flat screen TV, refrigerator, sink & dishwasher. It also boasts a front porch and small lanai off the main bedroom.
The Mermaid Lounge is a separate living area, above the garage, it's 1-bedroom (Queen bed), 1-bath property with vaulted ceilings with the comfortably furnished living area, flat screen TV and a countertop refrigerator. Ocean views from the front lanai.
All bathrooms are equipped with hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
This property is perfect for any size party, from a romantic getaway for two to a family vacation.

Right on the ocean. So nice sitting on the large deck, looking out at the water. No swimming here as water was rough and it w as rocky. Lots of snorkel gear, beach chairs, toys available. Laundry room provided.Nice arrangement with main house and two apartments at the front of house. It was great having this much space! Loft was small.Located right on the bike path for oceanfront walks or bike rides.The only drawback was no air conditioning and it was HOT. There were fans provided but it still was a bit uncomfortable.The property manager, Heidi was very accommodating!

There is no doubt that this home is beautiful. Our problem is this home is hot. All the windows in the front are small that open out. Side and back huge windows, but again no ventilation. Only main source of air flow is back slider that’s off the side of the dinning room. We just assumed that with the beach right there that it would be cooler. Other main issue is all the table tops (side, coffee, dinning) are glass. My 4 year old granddaughter easily broke the coffee table top in the bungalow easily with her mermaid Barbies. The glass was not tempered. Large shards. Yes , we broke it, yes we were charged $250 to replace. But why would you allow non tempered glass in a rental. She sliced her finger. Luckily it was only that.
