About this apartment rental

Ask about SNOWBIRD RATES....Starting @ 1900 with discounts for multiple months. Venus has so many repeat guests each summer they wish they had never shared the secret of Venus by the Sea.

The living room has a sofa sleeper, so this is perfect for the parents and two small children. Your patio has a beautiful view of the pool courtyard and your walk to the beach is about 150 yards away. This unit DOES NOT have a beach view. It has a fully equipped kitchen and linens provided. If you like to be away from the crowds this is the place for you. It is on the gulf side of the beach. There are restaurants and shops within 2-5 miles but the beach is not as crowded as Destin. NO PETS, NO SMOKING OF ANYKIND IN UNIT & PLEASE DON'T LEAVE EXCESSIVE MESS. FYI, all reviews before Sept 2021 were with a different management company. I now self manage and have received all 5 star reviews. Also I have a 5 star rating on the other platform.

The entire family had a great time. From the early check-in, for planning dad To the short walk to the beach, for relaxing mom. To the pool, for our little mermaid To what my teenage son called a "great condo" Every member of the family was pleased with our stay.

We had a great stay at this property. Donna was friendly and provided us with valuable information about the area. The property was clean and had everything you needed. I was pleased that the owner game us a heads up about bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags to eliminate the need for purchasing those upon arrival. The beach was easily accessible and not very crowded. My only wish was that the water pressure in the shower was stronger. I have long hair and it makes it a bit of a challenge to get the soap out. I would definitely stay here again. It was a pleasant experience!

My wife and I stayed here for just a few days to getaway. And we had a wonderful time! Property was lovely, and so close to the beach! Donna was awesome! And so responsive! Only thing I would say, make sure to remember to put a parking pass on your dash, so you don’t get. Warning!!

We stayed 8 nights at the Venus condos unit 207. It was very nice and clean. The carpet and furniture was in new condition and very comfortable. The bedroom was very clean and inviting as well with nice decor. The unit was very roomy and felt like home. The kitchen had everything you would want and the balcony overlooked the pool. I was also surprised how with how close of a walk the beach was. We were very happy with the property and would recommend to anyone. Donna was great to work with and quick to reply by text.

My partner and I stayed here for a few days. The location is awesome for the beach. No beach view but it was a very short walk to the beach. Able to go back and forth from the beach to the unit for bathroom breaks, grabbing food, etc. so extremely convenient. The shower is a little temperamental temperature wise and went in and out of cooler/warmer water throughout but it really didn’t bother us much at all. We really enjoyed using the tennis courts on the property as well.

The property was perfect for us this week! The condo was spacious, loved the decor, and it had everything we needed. I loved location, it was much more quiet and peaceful than other places I have stayed in the past. Beach access was a breeze, and communication with the owner was excellent. I highly recommend this property, and will definitely use again if I vacation in Fort Walton.

This property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Bed was comfortable. We also were a short distance from the beach. Great girls trip.

The property was extremely clean and a very short 3 minute to the beach! The only complaint we had was the property manager was changing the locks on the door the day we were checking in, and let us know she would call back within fifteen minutes of informing us of the door code (we were about an hour out from the condo and requested early check in). She didn’t call, and we called twice with no answer and left a voicemail when we arrived. We followed the instructions through our booking and walked to the condo next door where we were informed that they were no longer managing the condos at Venus by the sea and that the property manager was waiting for us at the unit. We had to text the property manager before we could get a response regarding the unit number or the door code. The property manager finally text back (never called back) and said that she had an issue with the door jam when installing the new lock-but we couldn’t get her to answer the phone and she never called back within the time frame she stated. Other than the check in issue, which I’m sure won’t be a problem in the future, we had a wonderful stay. We just felt that the property manager could have been more communicative and just let us know if there were issues instead of not answering the phone.

Thank you for letting us stay in your condo. The unit was clean & well stocked. It even had beach chairs in the closet. It’s only $15 a day to rent the big chairs/umbrella at the beach through the property. I do wish that would have been included. We enjoyed the wonderful pool & short walk to the beach. (There is no beach view from any unit at Venus but there is small yard area to grill, play corn-hole, frisbee etc.) The maintenance people are always out working every day keeping the building looking good. It is a non-smoking property so that works for us. I used the onsite laundry & it was $.50 a load which you can’t beat. A new putt putt/IceCream shop opened right down the road which we enjoyed playing & didn’t have to travel far. The Venus is a nice, smaller family orientated facility & great for a relaxing trip. We hope to visit again soon!

Older condo, fine for 2 nights for 2 adults and a teenager, but the mattress on the fold out couch badly needs replacing, my daughter slept on the couch itself instead. Condo needs a bit of updating, but was worth the rate we paid for it. Walk to the beach was easy and there is a shower and hose on the backside of the condo to wash off when you return. Pool areas was nice and it was a lot less crowded than Mirimar Beach where we usually stay.

We had a great time visiting Ft. Walton. The condo is clean and well taken care of. Only a short walk to the beach. The unit is on the 2nd floor of a two story building, but there is an elevator which is very helpful for loading/ unloading luggage and beach gear. Great location for families, and easy access over to Destin for more activities and restaurants.

Amazing customer service. Was coming in early in the morning and requested an early check in and it was granted without any issues. It was so clean and comfortable. It felt like home away from home. Just wished I would've checked the weather before driving out. I couldn't enjoy the beach but we made the best of it. Lots to do around there and th pool was fun. Thank you.
