Set among the hills in a very quiet neighborhood in beautiful Carmel Valley, is our very private and separate cottage WITH A QUEEN BED. Just over 500 sq. ft. with 2 private outdoor decks overlooking the hills of the valley, our cottage is only 1 1/4 miles to Carmel Valley Village's center which is bursting with an impressive array of quality restaurants, wine tasting rooms, art galleries and beautiful boutique shops.
A 20-minute drive down a lovely country road brings you to Carmel-by- the- Sea, considered to be one of the most lovely villages and beaches in the entire world. Just a bit further is Monterey Bay Sanctuary and Monterey Bay Aquarium, also considered to be one of the best aquariums in the world. Big Sur is no more than a 1-hour drive south on beautiful Highway 1. Other nearby attractions include Pebble Beach Golf Resort, Pt. Lobos State Reserve, and Monterey Fisherman's Wharf as well as John Steinbeck's historic Cannery Row.

Jen’s place is such an amazing private space to get away to recharge. It’s clean and all the necessities are available. This place is centrally located to all that Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur have to offer. We even popped over to Salinas one day easily from here.

Carmel Valley gave me the gift of stillness and beauty. From the apartment’s little garden, the mountains opened wide before me, a view so magnificent it felt otherworldly. Wind chimes drifted through the air like something heavenly, carrying a sense of peace you can’t quite put into words. The apartment itself was cozy and sweet—close to the charm of Carmel Village, yet nestled in a quiet place that felt worlds away. And Jen, the host, brought a warmth and kindness that made it all the more special.

A lovely getaway stay in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The view of the Carmel Mountains from the porch, with the gardens below was perfect for toasting our 26 years of marriage.

We had a wonderful visit relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views from our room and garden! The studio was perfect for two people and very close to some quaint and delicious restaurants. It is also not very far from Monterey. We enjoyed our three night stay and would recommend to any couple wanting to get away for a romantic weekend!
