Staff was great, especially Laura on the afternoon to midnight shift. Helpful in every way - directions, taxis, extra blanket, restaurants - and warm and friendly. Other staff also were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, linens clean and fresh, both beds very comfortable. Hot water available quickly. We spent three nights in room 112 and while we could hear some house from the room next to us and some street noise, we were able to sleep well. If you're very sensitive to noise, bring good earplugs. I did that and it made all the difference. Good to have a working elevator too. Great neighborhood for walking and shopping and running small errands. The attached bar and cafe were very convenient with good food and friendly staff.
The rooms were very small and somewhat charmless. There was almost no space at the bathroom sink to leave anything like a shaver, toothbrush, etc. Also no space for towels. The two electrical outlets were unreliable. They are very loose in the wall, and one is hard to reach. The bed stands were quite small, no drawers. The closet is very small, and while there was a 4-drawer dresser, only 2 drawers opened. I reported that to Laura, who filled out a repair request.
Artico is pleasant and affordable, but might not work for a longer stay because of the size; it's hard to unpack and settle in. We are in our mid to late 70's, and need some things younger people might not, e.g., CPAP, medications, etc.

Good location, underground, shops and restaurants nearby. Quiet neighbourhood. Staff really helpful and friendly.
Single room was way too small only good for a short stay. Paper-thin walls. A bit pricey.
