Newly RENOVATED baths and kitchen...stunning.
Absolutely one of the BEST VIEWS, in Poipu Sands, from this second floor OCEAN VIEW condo. Poipu Sands is a low density condo development, featuring wide open green lawns leading down to the ocean. This unit has the largest double lanai of any condo in the complex. The spacious lanai has all new furnishings, including chaises and a dining table. Parking is right in front of the unit, and there are walkways connecting Poipu Sands to the Grand Hyatt, and Shipwreck Beach. There are also trails, along the ocean, where you can watch turtles play in the surf, and whales pass by during the winter months.
Inside the unit you will fine all updated furnishings, linens, and carpeting. The "refresh" was completed by an interior designer on Kauai, and features soothing ocean colors.
There is a king bed in ocean view master bedroom, and the guest room has twin beds, that can be made into a King bed upon request. Each bedroom has it's own en suite bath to insure privacy for you, and your traveling companions. There is also a washer and dryer contained within the unit, making it possible to pack light for your trip.
There is free high speed wireless internet, and cable TV. There are TV's in the living room, and the master bedroom.
A fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a breeze. There is a table for indoor dining, as well as one on the lanai, where you can enjoy an ocean view.
The recently completed pool renovation has only made the best pool on the island, even more spectacular! It has an ocean view, as well as several gas grills to prepare an outdoor BBQ. There are even tables poolside, if that is your preference.
A short walk over to the Grand Hyatt provides you with the opportunity to enjoy some of the fine dining options located there, as well as entertainment nightly on the lanai, overlooking the grounds and ocean beyond. Why pay to stay there in a single room, when you can enjoy your own private 2 bedroom condo next door, at half the price?
The location is ideal, being only minutes from some of Poipu's finest beaches. Poipu is also the culinary center of the island, and you will find many options to satisfy almost any taste. There is a gourmet Farmer's Market on Wednesday afternoons, that is an event not to be missed. There is also a Friday night musical series at the Kukui'ula Shoppes nearby.
There you will find an upscale shopping and dining venue, and it's only 5 minutes away.
Poipu is also is location of two famous botanical gardens, where you can wander amongst the wide variety of plants that grow in Kauai, in a peaceful environment.

The condo was very well set up. It had everything we needed for our trip. The only con was no A/C. To our understanding the condo association does not allow A/C. We left all the windows open and fans blowing, it helped enough.

Great walkable location, appointed well throughout the condo, and the overall Poipu Sands property is manicured and well maintained. Grills and Pool area are very nice. Ocean view is also nice and slightly off to left with the only con being the rusted out, seemingly permanently parked, (truck) containers situated on the property across from Poipu Sands and more of your your direct view from balcony. Overall great stay!

Very nice updated unit. The only thing missing was AC, but supplied plenty of fans. Kitchen was well stocked. Convince to gas grill was nice too. Very comfortable furniture both inside and on the deck. Would rent again!

Beautiful house, good location, good view.
Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of construction going on. Redoing the roof and gutters on the building that was right next to us. The construction work with very loud and right out our window was the dumpster. What a bummer Challenged to get to the pool at this time because of all the equipment.
I’d go back there and stay again when there wasn’t construction. I just wish that we were informed about the construction going on. We would’ve picked a different location. I feel that we were ripped off.
