About this house rental
Our rentals are start and end on Saturdays. We highly recommend you purchase the VRBO Travel Insurance. Please make sure you read our policy on cancellations prior to booking. We have a professional cleaning service to ensure the house and linens are clean and sanitized upon your arrival. If you notice something isn’t working or needs replacement or needs to be repaired. We are small dog friendly a $150 per pet fee is required. Please let us know during your stay so we may address it. Please don’t wait until you decide to review the property or months later - we don’t live there and appreciate it if our guests let us know immediately! Thank you!
This Florida ranch style home sleeps 6 adults comfortably has many new updates including:
* Heated or Cooled Pool with sun deck and jets (there is an additional $50 per day fee to heat the pool due to the additional utility cost- with a 7 day minimum ). Please let us know if you want to heat /cool the pool as the gauge is under a lock box. It can take up to 24 hours to heat / cool the pool.
* Kayaks with Kayak launch and storage
* Bocce Ball Court
* Both bathrooms include bidets on each toilet
* Bedrooms include 1 king bed and 2 queen beds
* Game Room with separate new mini-split AC unit. One twin size Bunk Bed, Pool Table, Shuffle Board Table & Small Bar
* Tile floors throughout the main house
* 43" Smart TV's in bedrooms
* 65" in the family room and 55” in the game room
* Full-size Washer & Dryer
* Smart TV, High-Speed Wireless internet
* Desk with Ink Jet Printer (if ink is empty, you may replenish Best Buy is close by).
* Large 20k gallon in-ground pool with furnished patio
* Gas grill and smoker (egg) - you must re-fill the propane tank if you empty it
* Updated kitchen which includes Keurig Coffee Maker and Espresso machine.
* We provide up to 4 beach chairs and 1 beach umbrella. These items do rust and there is no guarantee on the condition - these have been updated and newly purchased in 2024.

* Newly screened in Lanai sunroom overlooks pool deck & canal
* Secure private fenced property & landscaped yard, privacy fence, and automatic gate to enter property. Code for gate required.
* Dock for fishing in the canal (Boat is NOT available to rent). You have access to Kayaks included with your rental (use at your own risk) if you accidentally break something- please let us know so we can have it repaired or replaced asap.

Since we do not live there, we have service providers to maintain the property. They have access to the gate. The service providers include (but are not limited to) weekly pool maintenance, weekly lawn care, and exterior pest control (including mosquitos).
This is a great location for fishing and kayaking. Be careful around the pool, dock, using the kayaks and watch your small children and pet (if applicable).
The property is minutes from the Inter-Coastal and a short ride to the Gulf. One mile by water to Siesta Key beaches, and 3 miles to Siesta Key Public Beach by car. Bring your small boat for some of the best fishing on the gulf coast. Our property is close to shopping and restaurants.

Jeff was a great host. We had to contact him with two questions (trash removal and pool question) and he got back to us in a very short time. The house atmosphere is very relaxing and is located in a very central area for gong to beaches, shopping, eating out and (most importantly to us) visiting Granny! Thanks, Jeff!

It was a nice house with a decent location. Beautiful view of the dock and bay, but could not catch fish. Very nice pool. Short drive to siesta key beach. Some things that were not too appealing was the cords to the tvs and cables were exposed which is very dangerous for little kids. The WiFi didn’t work half the time, the owners were responsive to this and contacted the company several times but a lot of the trouble shooting we did. Along with the cable didn’t work for 5 days out of our trip, which direct tv was contacted also but we got it working on night 5.. the washer stopped working on night 6 and we had to wring out all of our clothes to dry them. We also noticed that the dryer was tearing up all our thin clothes, such as 5 pair of my underwear. 2 of my new swim suits (their strings snapped). And 1 of my mother in laws swim suit strings.. after telling the owners about the issues we had with the washing unit I was told that it was a new unit, which it didn’t appear as that but I’ll take their word for it. We traveled with a very elderly dog that is blind and deaf, on my part I mistakenly didn’t click that we had a pet because I didn’t see it, so we were not charged a pet fee. I got a message later on after the stay asking if we had a dog because they found a dried pee spot on their rug, I offered to gladly pay the pet fee at that time. I later on got a damage claim notification for the washer unit (not our fault), and pet stain which was our fault.
