About this house rental
Bio-climatic house (wood-land-straw) self built in an old stone quarry (8000m²). It consists of three parts: The small house (guest party) the winter garden (which serves as a link- it is under construction) and the main house.
The whole is bordered by wooden terraces (douglas) without link between them.
An access ramp (slope about 6%) unsecured to this day (07/01/18) allows a chair to easily access the winter garden. All doors are 83cm.
The guest party is facing south with two large bays of 9m ² offers a beautiful view of the grove. It is bordered on the west by two terraces of different levels (about 6m ² each).
Inside: A bedroom area (bed 140 and possibility of a second sleeping) kitchen and bathroom (walk-in shower and TOILET DRY !!)

We chose this property for the reasonable price and proximity to Puy du Fou and it served us well. It is well equipped for cooking (we made 2 dinners) and there a is great selection of food nearby at the Super U. It is especially quiet at night which we appreciated. Somehow I neglected to include our grandson when making the reservation but Jocelyn was most gracious and accommodating of my mistake. There is a good shower and the composting toilet, while unusual, is perfectly fine. I would suggest 2 small changes, a thicker/softer mattress and wifi booster.
We would be happy to visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique property in a stunning location. Christian and Jocelyne were fantastic hosts, attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The house is an innovative, green build and how we should all be building houses these days. The composting toilet was a different experience for us - almost seems strange to flush now! We would love to visit again.
