About this cottage rental

A converted 17th century barn in a rural, medieval hamlet. Originally built before the Vendee wars and bears the scars of being burned by troops of the revolution in the 18th century, evidence of this can be seen on the stones of the walls where the colour turns from a creamy yellow to a rose hue. It has been lovingly restored to preserve its character and history and offers all modern comforts and accommodation for up to 6 guests.
It is spacious with lots of natural light and is furnished to the highest standard for 6 guests. A perfect base for exploring the Vendee and its history especially the Puy du fou - or simply relax and enjoy rural France and its Atlantic coastline.

Le logis est fonctionnel, très bien équipé, avec des attentions (gel, petites fournitures...) et bien situé (Puy du Fou, océan, nombreuses possibilités de visite dans les environs...). L'environnement est très calme et idéal pour se reposer. Seul gros bémol: la procédure d'envoi des clés par la poste... nous ne les avons jamais reçues mais heureusement la propriétaire a trouvé une solution et nous avons pu avoir accès au logis sans aucun souci.

Super logement, très cosy et très bien équipé, idéalement situé pour découvrir le riche patrimoine vendéen. L'environnement est très rural et isolé. A recommander aux amateurs de nature et culture!
