Amazing location! The staff were so accommodating and helped us with our luggage up the stairs.
The bathroom facilities could have been improved shower was a little hard to work.

Good buffet breakfast up on the terrace, swifts soaring across in summer. I loved that the hotel is above a local market, nice community life, felt safe. Rooms are large with ceilings SO high. It's in a ?1920s/30s building, beautiful tiling on the floors, original features, old heavy doors. This means that the plumbing is quite chatty in the mornings, inevitable part of being in an old building. Excellent communication from the hotel.
You need to strong arm / learn the quirks of some of the door locks, but staff always happy to help. Minor thing, again part of the age of the building.
