About this house rental
We call this The Cottage. It is one of three houses on 16 park-like acres, nestled into the woods, running along the scenic Bushkill Creek in the NE tip of the Poconos, near the Delaware River. All 3 houses are set quite far apart on the property and offer the perfect amount of privacy.
The cottage has 2 charming queen bedrooms and a large sleeping loft with 3 single beds. There's 2 stone fireplaces and a great kitchen. The massive porch is the prefect place to relax or take in the view of the river and waterfalls below. Guest have access to the entire cottage and grounds.
We are available by text or phone at all times. We may be staying on the property and are equally happy to leave you to yourselves or share coffee or a cocktail by the waterfall!
Mill Rift is a tiny community in Matamoras, right off the Delaware River that offers so many activities from rafting and canoeing, hiking, cross country skiing, fishing, antiquing, dining and much more...

Surprise and delight. The photographs don’t do this house justice. Between the thoughtfully decorated rooms, the delightful vignettes (like the cupboard in the breezeway, curated books and games) and the proximity to the waterfall — this is a hidden gem. Spending a late afternoon on the patio by the waterfalls (and in and out of the sauna) was a highlight. 10/10!! Planning to come again!

Magical! The pictures don't give justice to the house or the property. We spent most of our time by the bigger waterfall, enjoying the patio, swimming hole, sauna, and fire pit. The sun room is the perfect place for coffee and a book in the morning.
