Nice apartment and helpful host

Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive. She even gave us a late-night ride from Varenna station back to the apartment when we had no other way to return — something we’ll always be grateful for. The apartment is very close to the station, with a small supermarket nearby as well. It’s fully equipped with all the amenities, even toys for the kids. I’d definitely love to stay here again if we visit Lake Como in the future.

Amazing value in a quiet village at Como lake

Very spacious, clean, good shower, amazing location: only minutes of walking to the ferry, the train and some good restaurants. Great little Pebble beach is close as well. Francesca is very helpful with tips. The village is near the 'start' of the neverending road around Como so you can take the boats or the train to the rest of the sights without having to drive! And it's only an hour to Milan.

The main bed could use an upgrade. The mattress is fine! but the bed itself makes noise when you turn over.

A great place to stay when you are visiting Lake Como!

Great location, peaceful and quiet town, but also very near to Varenna, spacious apartment with all the amenities you need, great communication with the owner through WhatsApp, suggestions about restaurants, ferry and shopping, there is both heating and AC, depending on what you need, I would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful place!

Wonderful place, very good location, in addition a very nice welcome. A wonderful woman, Francesca, answered all questions and was always helpful. Everything was perfect! Very comfortable beds, very clean place, beautiful view from the balcony.

We loved our stay in Lierna and it was the highlight of our holiday. Lots to see and do around Lake Como and the town it

The property is spacious and very close to the train station, ferry dock, beaches, bakery, pizzeria’s and a small supermarket. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. Francesca was helpful in providing recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Lierna is a lovely town away from the busy areas which are still very easy to access. The apartment is in a secure area that you need a key to access which helped us feel nice and safe. The apartment itself was great and having Netflix for the evening and some water in the fridge on arrival was a great touch. Sitting out on the balcony for breakfast was just lovely.

We couldn’t find any plates or a kettle in the apartment and there were quite a lot of mosquitoes. It was expensive but may be better value for more than two people.

Exceptional

Excellent apartment in a perfect location. Within walking distance of the lake, supermarket, train station, bakery and restaurants. The host was really nice with us. The apartment was very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen (Washing machine and a kitchen island with dishwasher were available). Internet worked excellent. Good option to stay and discover the best hikes and paths to "Wayfarer's Path" (Sentiero del Viandante).

Very relaxing.

Excellent apartment in a perfect location. Everything you need within a few minutes, including bakery, food shops, beach and restaurants. The air con worked very well which was good as it was super hot when we were there. Hosts were very helpful without being intrusive. Even had kids toys.

Topappartement op een toplocatie

De airco was erg fijn met de hitte. Het appartement was ruim, was van alle gemakken voorzien en had mooi uitzicht op het meer. De locatie was top, dichtbij het strand, de bakkerij, het plein met restaurants en de opstap voor de ferry. Ook de communicatie met de verhuurder was erg fijn, ze gaf goede tips voor de omgeving en was zeer betrokken en attent.

Aurait pu être sympa, mais que de bruit !!!!

Appartement proche de toutes les commodités : embarcadère, commerces, restaurants (avec un très gentil boulanger à 50 m qui parle français), à 10 mn à pied de la plage. Grand et propre. Une vraie cuisine pour faire à manger. La climatisation bien utile car il faisait super chaud.

Le bruit des voitures, camions, motos, constamment toute la nuit (a priori à cause de travaux sur la route principale, qui du coup était fermée ???? Alors qu'il me semblait que le bruit venait bien de cette route principale qui longe le lac et qui passe à 30 m de la maison en contrebas). Tranquille entre 2h et 6h du matin. C'est un peu juste pour se reposer. On avait l'impression qu'il n'y avait pas de fenêtres tellement on entendait tout ce qui se passait à l'extérieur (y compris télé, radio et discussion des voisins ou des passants). Résultat : 3 nuits blanches et un départ anticipé pour ne pas vivre l'horreur d'une 4e nuit blanche. 640€ pour 3 nuits. Autant prendre un hôtel ! Il nous reste une semaine de vacances pour s'en remettre avant de reprendre le travail : au lieu de profiter du lieu...on dort ! Super génial les vacances. Et en plus on a payé une nuit supplémentaire.
