Designed by the Palm Springs architecture team of Palmer & Krisel, and built in 1960 by the Alexander Construction Company, this beautifully maintained and updated home is loaded with style, midcentury architectural elements and is thoughtfully appointed throughout.
Enter the home to find Italian terrazzo tiles throughout the public spaces. In the living room you will find original beamed and vaulted tongue and groove ceilings, a beautiful fireplace flanked by a wall of glass and slider opening to the backyard and pool. There is plenty of comfortable seating and a 64" Smart TV mounted above the fireplace.
The fully equipped kitchen features period maple and modern aluminum and glass cabinets, stainless steel appliances and a center island with an excellent prep area. The dining area seats 6 so your whole group can enjoy a meal together.
The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, 32" Smart TV, a sliding glass door to a private patio and a modern and upgraded en-suite bath with a walk-in shower.
The two guest bedrooms are well appointed, each featuring stylish decor, queen-sized beds and a shared hall bath with a walk-in shower. Both guest rooms have their own glass slider, private patio and 32” Smart TV.
Outside you will find a sparkling kidney-shaped swimming pool (12ft x 24ft) and spa, where you can relax poolside and enjoy the spectacular mountain views. This amazing backyard comes together with mature plantings, palms, modern hardscape, landscape lighting, multiple seating areas, a gas grill, a fire pit and is perfect for indoor/outdoor living – day or night. A lemon, tangelo and lime tree also adorn the outdoor living area and, when in season, can be used for cooking or in your favorite cocktail.
Splash Pad is a just a few minutes’ drive from the Palm Springs aerial tramway, the airport, the restaurants and shops of the Uptown Design District and downtown Palm Springs.
Come soak up the desert sun and make Splash Pad your pad for a few days, or the entire season!
RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE:
**Pool and spa heat are optional for $30-$80 per day. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book.
**Minimum age for every guest is 25 unless accompanied by a parent. No groups larger than 6 (regardless of age) and no parties.
**Palm Springs has strict noise, occupancy, and parking rules, INCLUDING THAT NO MUSIC IS ALLOWED OUTSIDE AT ANY TIME. Violation of these rules will result in a $1000 fine and immediate eviction from the house with no refund.
**Included in your booking is an accidental damage waiver fee which applies to covered damage up to $2000. Rules and limits apply. See the rental contract for more information.
**On rentals of 28-nights or more renter is responsible for the entire gas and electric bill from check-in to check-out based on meter reads. A $3500 utility deposit will be collected after booking and will be applied to these bills. Any remaining balance will be refunded to you.
**The City of Palm Springs requires an additional written contract which you must sign after you book and requires that you send us a copy of your ID before you check in.
**This house is dog-friendly (2 max) with prior approval and payment of an additional pet fee. No other animals allowed.

Pros: convenient location to all amenities, good sized kitchen for meal prep and butcher block island, pool, layout/bed and bath configuration, mid century modern, keyless entry, breathtaking views, helpful rental agency staff (Tiffany), and the house book was super helpful!Cons: the wind (it’s just the area of town and nothing anyone can do about it) 😊. When the wind blows there is a crazy banging sound in one of the bedrooms along the roofline and the house needs a little “attention” but just know you are staying in a mid century modern home and not a house built in 2024. Overall wonderful stay at Splash Pad PS.

Excellent vacation. House and grounds well maintained. Very comfortable. Only drawbacks were the noise from the planes and the shower in the main bedroom was not strong. Otherwise a wonderful place to stay.

The house is lovely and very comfortable. But, the noise from the airplanes flying overhead is tough to ignore. They start taking off from the airport, which is 10 minutes away, at 5:30 a.m. So, there is no sleeping in. Otherwise, the house is great. The view is really stunning and the artwork is amazing.
