The perfect place to stay in a magical valley

We absolutely loved our time at Residenza al Castello, with the Lake Project! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, helpful, flexible and very quick to respond to questions! Their personal connection to the village and the valley, and their detailed recommendations for local businesses and places made a big difference – it felt like staying with friends. The apartments we stayed in were clean, comfortable (great beds!), well-equipped, and had amazing views! The facilities were excellent too: the lovely pool, play area, grill/picnic area with games (all with glorious vistas up and down the valley) kept 3 generations of our family entertained and happy. The church bells ringing out over the wildflower meadows, and the chiming of livestock bells joining in – absolutely magical. As much as we would love to keep this gem of a place as our little secret, we must wholeheartedly recommend it to all who want a peaceful and engaging stay in a charming village – with all sorts of outdoor experiences and tasty cuisines within easy reach. Thank you to the whole Lake Project team for making our holiday so memorable.

Marvelous stay and accomodation

The accomodation is situated in a small village in a valley near Lago di Ledro. The house contains about 9-10 apartements. There is a swimming pool, a sauna, s shelter and a small playground in the garden on a hill where you can enjoy the sunrise, the beautiful landscape, the sun or a barbecue (grill is on site). The accomodation is appropriated to families as well as couples. There are particular apartements for families with dogs. The landlord is very kind, nice and open to the customers needs - very commendable.

There are enough parking lots but it still needs a little bit confidence to climb the narrow street and the ascent at its end with you car :-) Between the floors the house is a little bit poorly soundproofed.

We loved everything about our stay at Residenza al Castello. The area with the lake, valley and mountains is incredibly beautiful, calm and ideal to disconnect and relax. We did a bike tour (Sentiero Ponale) from Ledro to Riva del Garda and a hike (Sentiero Río Caino) near Borgo Chiese. Swimming in Ledro Lake was amazing. There are kayaks and pedalos for rent. Valeria and the team were very welcoming and warm. The swimming pool surrounded by the mountains is stunning. We will certainly come back.

The place is brilliant. It's very close to Lago di Ledro Lake and in 20 minutes from the Garda Lake. There was good WiFi, grill, sauna, free parking and of course the swimming pool with a beautiful view. We actually loved Lago di Ledro Lake more than Garda because the water was cleaner, there were all facilities close by: good food, bike renting, fishing, market and it's a much quieter place as well which we enjoyed a lot. Special thanks to Valeria, she was so kind and friendly. The team of the hotel speaks English perfectly. Our family had a great time in this place.

Comfortable and clean property, also really great that we were able to bring our dog. It had everything we needed at the apartment. The veiws surrounding it were utterly stunning as well! The property manager Valeria was so kind and welcoming, she sorted out any issues/queries we had very quickly. Cannot recommend highly enough, we will definietly be back in the future.

The views, the fresh mountain air, the piece and quiet, the luxury of the kitchen, the outdoor barbecue, the pool and the sauna. The Ledro valley (and lake) is also very very beautiful. we will come back for sure!

Everything was great, nothing really to complain about. Maybe a very small note for others when it matters: there are several churches nearby, all with active church bells. No restaurant nearby in walking distance. However there is a nice (although not the cosiest) pizzeria in the nearby village with very good pizza's.

Really nice place, quit except the bell on church's tower ;), very clean and well equiped. Private pool available was amazing in the night. Beautiful surroundings and spectacular view on Ledro valley. Small, yet fully loaded, grocery shop 50 metres away. The owner was extremely nice and helfull. I would totally recommend to visit and hope that get back one day.

Little slow internet connection. Not easy to get in with a larger car but just for the first time. Then it takes some skill only.

We had an amazing time! The appartment was modern and there was everything you need (kitchen equipment, baby chair, baby bed,...). You had a private terrace, but also a public one, swimming pool and sauna which was placed on the top so you had a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. The host Valeria was super eager to make sure that we have a perfect stay at Residenza al Castello. She was very helpful and super kind (e.g. restaurant recommendations, trips,...). Also she was available all the time quickly. Thanks again Valeria for this wonderful week at lake Ledro! :)

First of all I wanted to say HUGE thank you to Valeria! She was amazing and we were able to ask her anything we needed. Accommodation was beautiful with incredible view on the hills just a few minutes from lake Lago di Ledro. Apartment was super clean with everything we needed and there was beautiful terrace and swimming pool available. We were tere with our dog Hugo who also loved it and made many friends. If you are looking for lovely place to spend several days, rest and chill, then you definitely need to visit :)

Fabulous apartment in beautiful quiet village with great value

This was an amazing apartment for myself and my husband. The location is very quiet but beautiful. The host Valeria was so lovely and helpful and interested. We enjoyed walks around Lake Ledro, calling into local cafes and of course the amazing Via Ferrata climbing that is all around this area. The apartment was large, modern and well equipped if you want to cook at home with lovely terrace to sit and admire the view. It is such unbelievable value for such a great place. We will be sure to return in the future!

Die Wohnung war modern und sauber ,die Lage wunderschön .Alles sehr gepflegt .Die Vermieter waren supernett und sehr hilfsbereit .Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Residenza al Castello ist wunderschön gelegen,umgeben von grünen Hügeln,wunderschönen Berggipfeln,einem Dorf mit Kirchenturm den man immer im Blick hat. Es gibt um das Haus viele gemütliche Sitzplätze,einen wunderschönen Pool und eine Sauna mit Lichteffekten und tollen Ausblick. Die Ferienwohnung in der wir wohnten, ist wundervoll mit Liebe eingerichtet und bietet alles was man braucht. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht den Gästen den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen.Man merkt,die Vermieterin ist mit viel Herz dabei. Wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden. Gern wieder.
