Villa Quintinha da Balaia

We had a fabulous week in Villa Quintinha da Balaia. Huge property with large swimming pool, whirlpool (both we paid extra to have heated), table tennis and other games available. Large garden, shaded parking and plenty of outdoor seating areas. All bedrooms had their own bathroom and the villa was spotlessly clean.

The change of towels should have been on Wednesday (half way through our stay) but instead happened early Tuesday morning. We weren´t expecting this and so couldn´t avail of this useful service. In one of the main bedrooms and bathroom there was a huge outbreak of ants and flies. We know this is to be expected in warm countries, but even after treating the bedroom and shower, they kept coming back in large amounts. We had to stop using this room. The Wifi in two bedrooms didn´t work at all, which was a little frustrating. These are minor things we are mentioning so as to give the hosts the opportunity to improve the minor issues for future guests. All in all we were very happy with our stay though :-)

Beautiful villa, grounds and pool.

Nothing disliked, but would have been very nice to have a kettle and toaster available for use in the outdoor kitchen.

The villa was absolutely amazing and had everything you could possibly need. There was so much space for all of us which made our stay so enjoyable as there were 9 people staying. I would highly recommend

Beautiful villa. Great hosts. Could do with a few extra pots and pans however the stay exceeded all our expectations!
