Adega Fraga

The house is a real gem - the surrounding vineyard is simply stunning, almost unreal. The house is very well equipped and parking is easy. The bed is incredibly comfortable, which is a bonus in itself. Roberto was kind, helpful, and always reachable when needed. A special thank you for the tips about local celebrations, grapes and wines, and especially the Cory's shearwaters - knowing what to expect meant we could laugh at their evening calls instead of losing sleep over them. With no light pollution, the night sky from the courtyard is breathtaking. Honestly, we barely wanted to leave the property to explore the island - just sitting on the porch watching the sunset felt like pure bliss. A truly unique experience. We would love to come back.

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung durch Herrn Fraga. Wir haben sogar Lebensmittel bekommen, da die Anreise am Sonntag war. Ein Ort in traumhafter Lage an dem man sich einfach wohl fühlt!

Traumhafte Lage mit Blick auf den Pico, herrlich im Weingebiet gelegen und unweit vom Meer. Ein sehr schönes Haus, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Eine komplett ausgerüstete offene Küche mit sehr schönem Aufenthaltsbereich. Auf der Terrasse konnte man trotz Regen ganz entspannt frühstücken oder in der Hängematten chillen. Das frische Obst aus dem Garten war sehr wohlschmeckend. Roberto ist total nett und vollkommen unkompliziert, er hatte super Tipps für Restaurants in der Umgebung und Wale Watching in Lajes. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir würden uns immer wieder für die Adega Fraga entscheiden.

Es war alles perfekt.

It could be cousy, but there some nuances…

Lizards inside. Noise under the roof: lizards, rats or smth else. It’s disgusting. Very loud whistling and crackling noise outside at night made by unknown small animals. No electric kettle!!! There is an electric stove (not induction), and it takes forever to boil water. No shampoo in the bath, only liquid hand soap. The refrigerator often goes into alarm mode and makes a loud sound. I’m not obsessed with the view from the window, but you have never seen Pico as it shows on the photo, which took from the high point.
