I had an amazing experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Front desk is very accommodating. Most of all the atmosphere is fabulous and gives off Resort vibes. Add that with the best employees/staff always smiling and helpful it’s a must. I will definitely be booking again. Thank you Mayan Monkey Employees!!

Excellent place for beach stay. Greenery adds so much, clear warm water to swim, many beds to chill, shade. On site Areia beach club and restaurant, music, live DJ.
Yoga class in the morning with gorgeous view.
Rooms are big, more older facility, kitchen is very basic, not very equipped with plates, utensils and cups, will benefit from upgrade. Drinking water and towels are provided.
Location is okey but since it's on the other side of the island, you need to take taxi each time you want to go to the North Beach where more restaurants and entertainment is and where ferry drops you. Bus runs every 40min to 1 hour, last one around 4 pm, goes in loop.
Small,very basic supermarket walking distance from hotel.

We stayed in the jungle terrace room, it’s nice to be hidden in the jungle, very peaceful the only downfall is the room is very dark, dim lighting. Book an ocean room for more light. Great atmosphere, great food, beautiful beach. Good vibes overall :)
