Berghaus Bungalow

Lovely host and a beautiful view. Large, clean, comfortable room. Very nice food.

We hiked there after completing a Stage of the Pekoe Trail and it was a long climb up (they usually do transfers from the end of the trail). Incorrectly marked on maps (not the hosts fault)

Wow! What a beautiful guesthouse with the sweetest and most thoughtful owner! Our room (double room with balcony with a king bed) was fantastic—spotlessly clean, super comfortable mattress, pillows, and comforter, great shower with hot water, an amazing view out the giant windows, and a lovely balcony and hammock. And the owner, Shashi couldn’t have been a better host. She welcomed us with a complimentary drink upon arrival, brought us delicious ginger tea in the evening when it got cool, and made us the most delicious dinner (we got curry and rice but she offered us multiple options) and breakfast (we got milk rice and fruit but she also offered us a western breakfast)! The views over the valley are stunning and it was so nice and quiet at night. We only wish we could have stayed longer!! Highly recommended!

The location and the treatments from all the staff including the owner were amazingly helpful 👌 Food was excellent. I've been to so many places but this bungalow is something you can feel like your own home. Safe and quieter.
